Colorado at Detroit 6:00 PM ET
The Detroit Red Wings look to halt their five-game slide when they continue their four-game homestand against the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday. Detroit fell to 0-2-3 since posting a third straight victory on Dec. 7 when it dropped a 2-1 decision to the New York Islanders on Friday. Captain Henrik Zetterberg scored the lone goal for the Red Wings, who have been held to two or fewer in each game during their skid.
Dallas at Edmonton 6:00 PM ET
The Dallas Stars look to cap a perfect three-game road trip through Western Canada and notch a fourth straight victory when they visit the reeling Edmonton Oilers on Sunday. Tyler Seguin had an assist in Dallas' 2-1 triumph over Calgary on Friday and scored twice in his team's 3-2 win against Edmonton on Nov. 25. Kari Lehtonen also excelled in both contests, turning aside 21 shots versus the Flames while making 35 saves to improve to 12-3-1 in his career versus the Oilers.
Buffalo at Boston 7:00 PM ET
The Boston Bruins attempt to continue their success against the Buffalo Sabres this season when the Atlantic Division rivals face off at TD Garden on Sunday. Boston won each of the first two meetings between the clubs, both of which took place in Buffalo, as it posted a 4-0 shutout on Oct. 18 before skating to a 3-2 overtime triumph on Oct. 30. The Bruins are coming off their fourth loss in five games, a 2-1 decision at Winnipeg on Friday that concluded a 1-1-1 road trip.
Carolina at NY Rangers 7:00 PM ET
The New York Rangers look to continue their mastery of the Carolina Hurricanes and secure their sixth straight victory overall when the Metropolitan Division rivals complete their home-and-home set at Madison Square Garden on Sunday. Defenseman Kevin Klein scored the tying goal with 2:23 remaining in the third period before Mats Zuccarello netted the lone tally of the shootout in New York's 3-2 victory on Saturday.
Toronto at Chicago 7:00 PM ET
After tumbling to two straight losses following a season-high six-game winning streak, the Toronto Maple Leafs look to get back on track when they open a seven-game road trip against the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday. Peter Holland and James van Riemsdyk each scored in Toronto's 7-4 loss to Philadelphia on Saturday and also tallied in the Maple Leafs' 3-2 victory over Chicago on Nov. 1.
Philadelphia at Winnipeg 9:00 PM ET
The Winnipeg Jets look to close out their four-game homestand with a third straight victory when they host the Philadelphia Flyers in Sunday. After beginning the stretch at the MTS Centre with a 4-1 loss to Anaheim, Winnipeg routed Buffalo 5-1 before edging Boston 2-1 on Friday. Mathieu Perreault snapped a tie with 23 seconds remaining in the middle period as the Jets improved to 7-1-3 over their last 11 overall contests.
