NY Islanders at Philadelphia 7:00 PM ET
The New York Islanders look to continue their ascent in the Metropolitan at the expense of a division rival Tuesday when they play the second contest of their three-game road trip against the Philadelphia Flyers. New York began its seven-game point streak (5-0-2) with a 3-1 home victory over Philadelphia on Nov. 25 and has won five of its last six visits to the Wells Fargo Center.
Los Angeles at Columbus 7:00 PM ET
After winning their sixth straight contest at home, the Los Angeles Kings look to take their show on the road on Tuesday when they open a six-game road trip against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Anze Kopitar is blistering hot with three goals and six assists in his last eight games for the Kings, who aren't fazed with 10 of their next 11 contests away from the Staples Center.
Detroit at Washington 7:30 PM ET
Defenseman Mike Green returns to the place where he played the first 10 seasons of his career when the Detroit Red Wings visit the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night in a matchup of two of the NHL's hottest teams. Green has already faced his former teammates twice this season in Detroit - a pair of one-goal decisions split by the squads.
New Jersey at Toronto 7:30 PM ET
Lou Lamoriello will get his first look at the team he built into a powerhouse when the Toronto Maple Leafs host the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night. Lamoriello spent 28 seasons with the Devils and was the architect of a franchise that won three Stanley Cups before he resigned in the summer to take over as the general manager of the Maple Leafs.
Ottawa at Florida 7:30 PM ET
The Florida Panthers revived their season with an impressive 4-1-0 road trip and look to translate that into success at home when they host the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday. The Panthers allowed a total of four goals while knocking off Detroit, St. Louis, Nashville and Columbus before dropping a 4-2 decision at New Jersey on Sunday despite owning a 36-18 shot advantage.
Arizona at St. Louis 8:00 PM ET
Sputtering offenses have told the tale of the recent troubles involving both the St. Louis Blues and Arizona Coyotes. The struggling teams will look to right the ship at the other's expense on Tuesday when they meet at Scottrade Center.
Nashville at Chicago 8:30 PM ET
Patrick Kane looks to extend his franchise-record point streak when the Chicago Blackhawks host the Nashville Predators on Tuesday in the opener of a home-and-home series. Kane notched an assist - on a legal hand pass in the defensive zone - on rookie Artemi Panarin's empty-net goal late in Sunday's victory over Winnipeg to give him a point in 22 consecutive games, eclipsing Chicago's all-time mark set by Bobby Hull in 1971-72.
Carolina at Dallas 8:30 PM ET
The Carolina Hurricanes look to build off a strong weekend when they begin a four-game road trip Tuesday against the league-leading Dallas Stars. The Hurricanes knocked off Eastern Conference-leading Montreal on Saturday and got a late power-play goal from defenseman Justin Faulk to edge Arizona 5-4 the following night.
San Jose at Calgary 9:00 PM ET
The Calgary Flames attempt to continue their recent success at home - and escape the league basement - when they host the slumping San Jose Sharks on Tuesday. Calgary has won six in a row at Scotiabank Saddledome, including the first two of its five-game homestand, after losing five of the first six in its own building.
