December 07, 2016
Minnesota at Toronto 7:30 PM ET
The Minnesota Wild look to conclude their five-game, 12-day road trip on a high note as they finish the lengthy trek against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday. The Wild have won six straight games versus the Maple Leafs, although they are singing a much different tune at Air Canada Centre where they have dropped six of nine.
Boston at Washington 8:00 PM ET
The Boston Bruins lost four of their last five games in November, but they are perfect this month and take a three-game winning streak into Wednesday's matchup at the Washington Capitals. Boston is in the midst of a favorable portion of the schedule, with the Capitals the only team in a six-game stretch that currently is not in the bottom half of their respective divisions.
Carolina at Anaheim 10:30 PM ET
The Anaheim Ducks will attempt to put their most embarrassing loss of the season behind them when they kick off a three-game homestand against the Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday night. Anaheim is coming off a three-game road trip (1-1-1) through Western Canada that ended with a thud in an 8-3 mauling by the Calgary Flames.
Ottawa at San Jose 10:30 PM ET
San Jose Sharks center Logan Couture deemed himself ready to return to the ice on Wednesday as the San Jose Sharks wrap up their lengthy stay in the Golden State with a home game versus the Ottawa Senators. Couture took advantage of a four-day break in between games to alleviate discomfort in his surgically repaired right ankle by having a screw removed over the weekend.
