Anaheim at Winnipeg 3:00 PM ET
The Anaheim Ducks vie for their fourth consecutive victory when they conclude a brief two-game road trip against the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday afternoon. The Ducks continued their winning ways with a 5-4 triumph over Minnesota on Friday, but the victory proved costly as former Hart Trophy winner Corey Perry exited the contest with a knee injury and will be re-evaluated when the team returns to Anaheim.
Detroit at Carolina 5:00 PM ET
After collecting his 500th career coaching victory, Mike Babcock can tie Hall-of-Famer Pat Burns with another when the Detroit Red Wings visit former assistant Bill Peters and the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday. Darren Helm scored his third goal in two games as Detroit rallied from an early deficit to post a 3-2 triumph over the New York Rangers on Saturday.
Vancouver at Ottawa 7:00 PM ET
The Ottawa Senators managed just one victory in their last eight contests and look to end the downward spiral when they host the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday. The Senators suffered six one-goal losses during the last 15 days and things won’t get any easier against the Canucks, who boast a league-best 11 road victories and have beaten Ottawa in seven of the last eight meetings. The Senators let a lead get away and allowed the winning goal with 1:50 to play in Saturday’s 3-2 loss at Pittsburgh.
San Jose at Edmonton 9:00 PM ET
The Edmonton Oilers seek their first victory since Nov. 9 when they host the San Jose Sharks on Sunday in the opener of a home-and-home series. Edmonton has failed to get into the win column since posting a 3-1 triumph at the New York Rangers, going 0-7-4 while scoring more than two goals only three times. The slide continued in disappointing fashion Wednesday, when the Oilers allowed the tying tally with 3:06 remaining in the third period and the winner 17 seconds into overtime.
