Los Angeles at Carolina 1:00 PM ET
The Carolina Hurricanes have outshot every opponent this month but it hasn’t translated into many positive results while settling for one victory and five points in eight contests. The Hurricanes look to ignite their struggling offense and taste some reward for their improved play when they host the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday afternoon.
San Jose at Columbus 5:00 PM ET
The San Jose Sharks have turned their season around far away from home and can complete a perfect six-game road trip out East when they take on the improving Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday. The Sharks were under .500 when they left San Jose and knocked off Detroit, Buffalo, Boston and Philadelphia by a goal before Saturday’s 3-1 victory at Pittsburgh.
NY Islanders at Montreal 7:00 PM ET
Reigning Hart and Vezina Trophy winner Carey Price has returned from a lower-body injury and the Montreal Canadiens could be ready to go on another run. The Canadiens, who started the season with nine consecutive victories in October, look to complete a sweep of back-to-back meetings when they host the New York Islanders on Sunday.
New Jersey at Vancouver 10:00 PM ET
The Sedin twins have been the face of the Canucks for more than 15 years and have never looked better of late as Vancouver hosts the New Jersey Devils on Sunday. Daniel Sedin recorded his sixth career hat trick — and first in nearly four years — and combined with brother Henrik to record nine points in Vancouver's 6-3 victory over the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks, and Daniel recorded his 900th career point when he assisted on Henrik's first-period goal.
