Preview Roundups

Toronto at Columbus 7:00 PM ET
A timely meeting with the woeful Buffalo Sabres helped the Toronto Maple Leafs snap out of their recent funk. A showdown with a severely undermanned Columbus team could allow the Maple Leafs to build some momentum as they visit the Blue Jackets on Friday. Toronto thoroughly dominated rival Buffalo last time out, rolling to a 4-0 home victory, and now face a Blue Jackets club that will be missing several regulars due to injuries.
Los Angeles at Detroit 7:30 PM ET
Pavel Datsyuk hasn't missed a beat since his return from a separated shoulder - and neither have the Detroit Red Wings. Both look to continue their strong play when the Los Angeles Kings pay a visit to Joe Louis Arena on Friday. Datsyuk, who scored a goal and set up another in Detroit's 4-2 victory over Washington on Wednesday, has collected two tallies and three assists during his four-game point streak.
Anaheim at Dallas 8:30 PM ET
The Anaheim Ducks need to rediscover their offense when they continue their four-game road trip against the Dallas Stars on Friday. The Ducks dropped a 2-0 decision to St. Louis on Thursday to fall to 1-1-0 on the trek and have mustered just two goals in their last three contests overall.
Nashville at Calgary 9:00 PM ET
The Calgary Flames have to be mostly happy with their first 11 games of the season, as they're above .500 despite a two-game skid and possess one of the best defenses in the league to date. But home ice has been a major struggle for the Flames, and they'll face a legitimate challenge Friday as they host the red-hot Nashville Predators. Nashville is coming off a 4-1 triumph over the Edmonton Oilers, remaining unbeaten in regulation on the road.
