Preview Roundups
October 25, 2015
Minnesota at Winnipeg 6:00 PM ET
The Winnipeg Jets host the Minnesota Wild on Sunday in the first of five meetings this season between the Central Division rivals and, if the Jets are to snap a two-game losing streak, slowing Zach Parise is critical. Parise is tied for third in the NHL with six goals and boasts a plus-16 rating with 30 points in 33 career games against the Jets’ franchise.
Calgary at NY Rangers 7:00 PM ET
The New York Rangers attempt to extend their point streak to five games when they begin a three-game homestand against the Calgary Flames on Sunday. New York has gone 2-0-2 over its last four contests, battling back from a pair of one-goal deficits at Philadelphia on Saturday before falling 3-2 in a shootout.
Los Angeles at Edmonton 9:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Kings have rebounded well from a troubling 0-3-0 start, led by strong goaltending and a boost of offense from 23-year-old forward Tyler Toffoli. The Kings go after their fifth straight victory and Toffoli looks to extend his goal-scoring streak to the same amount of games when they visit the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday.
