Preview Roundups
April 22, 2015
Montreal at Ottawa 7:00 PM ET
The Montreal Canadiens can record a sweep in their Eastern Conference first-round series for the second year in a row when they visit the Ottawa Senators for Game 4 on Wednesday. Montreal, which dismissed Tampa Bay in four games last year, can do the same to Ottawa after Dale Weise scored his second goal 8:47 into overtime to cap a 2-1 victory on Sunday.
NY Rangers at Pittsburgh 7:00 PM ET
The New York Rangers have followed a familiar script in taking two of the first three contests in their Eastern Conference first-round series versus the Pittsburgh Penguins. By scoring first and building a lead before weathering the storm, the Presidents' Trophy-winning Rangers look to repeat the feat and push the Penguins to the brink of elimination when the Metropolitan Division rivals reconvene at Consol Energy Center for Game 4 on Wednesday.
St. Louis at Minnesota 9:30 PM ET
The St. Louis Blues have been among the top road teams in the league over the past few seasons but they have been unable to carry that success over to the playoffs. St. Louis will look to avoid a 10th consecutive postseason defeat away from home when it faces the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday in Game 4 of the Western Conference first-round playoff series.
Anaheim at Winnipeg 9:30 PM ET
The Winnipeg Jets' inability to hold a third-period lead has put them on the brink of elimination in their Western Conference first-round series. Winnipeg looks to avoid being swept and record the first playoff victory in franchise history when it hosts the top-seeded Anaheim Ducks in Game 4 on Wednesday.
