The Detroit Red Wings are expecting to see a familiar face return to their lineup when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference first-round series. Justin Abdelkader, who scored 10 goals during a 13-game stretch in March and finished with 23 this season, is in line to make his first appearance in the series after injuring his right hand while blocking a shot versus Minnesota on April 4.

John Tavares scored a league-leading four overtime goals during the regular season, and his latest tally has given the New York Islanders a 2-1 lead in their Eastern Conference first-round series against the Washington Capitals. The captain looks to continue his run of good fortune and push the Capitals to the brink of elimination when the clubs reconvene at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum for Game 4 on Tuesday.
Nashville at Chicago 9:30 PM ET
The Chicago Blackhawks can put a stranglehold on their Western Conference first-round playoff series when they host the Nashville Predators in Game 4 on Tuesday. The Blackhawks rebounded from a 6-2 drubbing at Nashville in Game 2 with an efficient 4-2 victory on Sunday to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven set.
Vancouver at Calgary 10:00 PM ET
The Calgary Flames attempt to put a stranglehold on their Western Conference first-round series when they host the Vancouver Canucks in Game 4 on Tuesday. Calgary grabbed a 2-1 lead in the matchup Sunday as defenseman TJ Brodie scored a goal and set up another in a 4-2 victory.
