NY Islanders at Ottawa 7:00 PM ET
The Ottawa Senators’ desperate push for a playoff spot continues when they host the New York Islanders on Wednesday. The Senators have collected points in their last five games (4-0-1) but still trail the Columbus Blue Jackets for the final Eastern Conference wild-card spot by five points. The Islanders are also 4-0-1 in their last five as they try to conclude a lost season on a positive note.
Boston at Detroit 8:00 PM ET
The rampaging Boston Bruins haven't lost in regulation or on the road in a month and will put both streaks on the line when they visit the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday night. The Bruins are closing in on wrapping up the top seed in the Eastern Conference and hold a one-point lead over St. Louis in the race for the Presidents' Trophy.
Edmonton at Anaheim 10:00 PM ET
The Anaheim Ducks attempt to extend their lead in the Pacific Division when they host the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday. Anaheim owns a one-point advantage over San Jose with two games in hand as it seeks its second straight division title and third in franchise history. The Ducks made an historic comeback Monday, rallying from a 4-0 deficit against Winnipeg to win in overtime on defenseman Stephane Robidas' goal 16 seconds into the extra session.
Phoenix at Los Angeles 10:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Kings look to clinch a playoff berth when they host the Pacific Division-rival Phoenix Coyotes on Wednesday. Los Angeles, which is third in the division, will secure a spot in the postseason with a triumph over the Coyotes, who enter the contest on the outside looking in. Phoenix is even in points with Dallas, but the Stars occupy the second wild-card spot in the Western Conference by virtue of having played one fewer game.
