St. Louis at Detroit 12:00 PM ET
Detroit Red Wings coach Mike Babcock has been preaching optimism despite seeing his team drop six of its last eight contests. The Red Wings will have to overcome a difficult obstacle to get back on track when they host the St. Louis Blues on Sunday afternoon. "The last three games were encouraging for me," Babcock told the Detroit Free Press after the Red Wings' 3-1 setback at Tampa Bay on Friday.
Boston at Tampa Bay 5:00 PM ET
After seeing their nine-game winning streak against one Sunshine State representative come to a halt, the Boston Bruins look to continue another gaudy stretch when they visit the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday. The Bruins saw their skid reach four games (0-2-2) with a 2-1 shootout loss to Florida on Saturday, allowing Ottawa to inch within one point of them in the race for the second wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.
Anaheim at NY Rangers 7:30 PM ET
The Anaheim Ducks look to extend their winning streak to five games when they open a five-game road trip against the New York Rangers on Sunday. Corey Perry scored on a breakaway 1:25 into overtime as Anaheim skated to a 3-2 victory over Colorado on Friday. The overtime tally was the sixth in the career of Perry, tying the former Hart Trophy winner with the retired Teemu Selanne and captain Ryan Getzlaf for the most in franchise history.
Vancouver at Arizona 8:00 PM ET
The Vancouver Canucks attempt to even the season series at two wins apiece when they visit the Arizona Coyotes on Sunday. Vancouver split the first two contests of the five-game set at home, routing the Coyotes 7-1 on Dec. 22 after being shut out 5-0 on Nov. 14. The Canucks rallied to earn a point at Arizona on March 5, as Chris Higgins and Radim Vrbata scored in the final 7:39 of the third period, before dropping a 3-2 decision in a shootout.
