Nashville at NY Rangers 7:00 PM ET
New York Rangers general manager Glen Sather was a busy man as his team enjoyed some semblance of an off day on Sunday. Three separate trades came to fruition and the Rangers are expected to unveil their latest acquisitions when they host the league-leading Nashville Predators on Monday. The crown jewel of the deals comes in the form of offensive-minded defenseman Keith Yandle, who has reached the 50-point plateau on two occasions in his career and had 41 in 63 games with Arizona this season.
Carolina at Chicago 8:30 PM ET
Veteran defenseman Kimmo Timonen and Antoine Vermette are in line to make their debuts with their new team as the Chicago Blackhawks host the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday. The Blackhawks acquired Timonen from Philadelphia for a pair of draft picks on Friday and added the coveted Vermette for Klas Dahlbeck and a first-round selection in the 2015 draft two days later.
Montreal at San Jose 10:00 PM ET
The San Jose Sharks look to salvage the finale of their four-game homestand when they host the Eastern Conference-leading Montreal Canadiens on Monday. Things have not gone as hoped when San Jose halted a two-game skid with a victory at Dallas on Feb. 19 and faced a stretch during which it played eight of its next nine contests at home. The Sharks have yet to record a victory, however, scoring a total of five goals while falling to Los Angeles, Detroit and Ottawa.
