Anaheim at Los Angeles 4:00 PM ET
The Los Angeles Kings have mustered just 14 goals en route to losing six of their last eight games, with three shutouts underscoring their season-long troubles on offense. The host Kings will receive a break in Saturday's latest installment of the Freeway Faceoff as Anaheim Ducks coach Randy Carlyle will keep injured goaltender John Gibson on the sideline amid one report that Los Angeles netminder Jonathan Quick will return for the first time since the season opener.
Washington at Nashville 5:00 PM ET
One day after extending their home winning streak to 13 games, the league-leading Washington Capitals attempt to put together consecutive victories on the road for the first time in over a month when they visit the red-hot Filip Forsberg and the Nashville Predators on Saturday. The 22-year-old Forsberg looks to become the third player in NHL history to record three consecutive hat tricks and the Predators' all-time leader in the category with the fifth of his career.
NY Rangers at New Jersey 5:00 PM ET
The New York Rangers have surged into third place into the Metropolitan Division and take the league's best road record into a matchup at the neighborhood New Jersey Devils on Saturday night. The first team to reach 20 wins away from home, the Rangers look to beat the Devils for the third time in as many meetings this season.
NY Islanders at Columbus 5:00 PM ET
Despite struggling on the road for much of the season, the New York Islanders have looked right at home in the first two stops of their franchise-record nine-game trek. The Islanders hope their recent level of play travels with them as they vie for their fourth win overall and ninth in the last 11 encounters with the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday when the Metropolitan Division rivals meet at Nationwide Arena.
Montreal at Toronto 7:00 PM ET
A crowd is forming in the rear-view mirror of the Montreal Canadiens, who have a slew of teams chasing them as they prepare to visit the rival Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night. The Canadiens are 2-7-1 this month, scoring a total of 13 goals in that span, and has been shut out four times in their last eight games.
Philadelphia at Pittsburgh 8:00 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers will celebrate their respective 50th anniversary this season by altering the setting for their next installment of their bitter rivalry. The Keystone State representatives take the action outdoors as they will play under the lights at Heinz Field, the home of the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers.
San Jose at Vancouver 10:00 PM ET
Joe Thornton looks to make history as the veteran forward needs two assists to reach 1,000 for his career on Saturday when the visiting San Jose Sharks and Vancouver Canucks face off at Rogers Arena in their returns from their respective league-mandated breaks. The 37-year-old Thornton has six multi-assist performances this season and has gashed the Canucks for 64 points - including 48 assists - in 56 career regular-season games.
Buffalo at Colorado 10:00 PM ET
The Buffalo Sabres will be hoping that the combination of a lopsided defeat and their bye week will not halt some much-needed momentum as they prepare to visit the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday night. Buffalo's three-game winning streak came to a screeching halt with a 5-1 drubbing at home by the Chicago Blackhawks in the last game before the bye.
