Washington at Philadelphia 12:30 PM ET
The Philadelphia Flyers and the Washington Capitals cap a busy weekend when the Metropolitan Division rivals meet in the City of Brotherly Love for an afternoon contest on Sunday. The Flyers hold a slight advantage on Washington in their season series after three games, but the Capitals can score a 2-1-1 victory in the set with a regulation win at Philadelphia. Washington has won a season-high four straight games, while Philadelphia is 5-1-2 in its last eight home contests.
Boston at Chicago 3:30 PM ET
A season-high six-game winless streak (0-4-2) has the Boston Bruins teetering along the edge of the postseason bubble. The Bruins look to get back on track and improve their standing when they attempt to salvage the finale of a five-game road trip against the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday afternoon. Boston, which is clinging to a one-point lead over Florida for the second wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference, fell to 0-2-2 on its trek with a lackluster 5-1 setback to St. Louis on Friday.
Nashville at Buffalo 6:00 PM ET
The Nashville Predators have not lost more than two in a row all season but they'll put that streak on the line when they wind up a three-game road trip against the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday in a matchup between the league's best and worst teams. Nashville turned in a lackluster effort in a shootout loss to Philadelphia on Saturday, managing only seven shots over the first two periods. The Predators have won both meetings versus Buffalo this season by a combined 10-2 margin.
Vancouver at NY Islanders 6:00 PM ET
The Vancouver Canucks began their five-game road trip with a promising victory, only to suffer their second loss in six contests with a less-than-inspiring effort. The Canucks look to get back on track when they continue their trek against the New York Islanders on Sunday. Captain Henrik Sedin collected two goals in Vancouver's 5-4 shootout win over the New York Rangers on Thursday before setting up both of Zack Kassian's tallies in a 4-2 setback to New Jersey the following night.
Florida at Pittsburgh 6:00 PM ET
The Florida Panthers continue their five-game road trip when they visit the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday. Florida began its trek with victories in Toronto and Montreal before dropping a 4-1 decision at Ottawa on Saturday. Aleksander Barkov gave the Panthers the lead before the club allowed four straight tallies en route to its fourth loss in six games.
Tampa Bay at Colorado 7:00 PM ET
The Tampa Bay Lightning look to finish a five-game road trip with four victories when they visit the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday night. The Lightning knocked off Arizona 4-2 on Saturday with two goals from Ondrej Palat, who has collected six points during a four-game point streak. The Avalanche lost in a shootout at Tampa Bay on Jan.17, but have won three of their last four games to keep their playoff hopes alive - capped by an impressive 4-1 victory at Chicago on Friday.
Columbus at NY Rangers 7:30 PM ET
The New York Rangers attempt to extend their point streak to eight games when they host the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday. New York improved to 5-0-2 in its last seven contests with a 3-1 triumph at Buffalo on Friday in which Rick Nash recorded a goal and an assist. Mackenzie Skapski made his NHL debut for the Rangers, turning aside 24 shots as the Rangers posted their fifth consecutive road victory.
Dallas at Minnesota 8:00 PM ET
The Minnesota Wild have surged back into postseason contention and look to keep the momentum going against another playoff hopeful when they host the Dallas Stars on Sunday night. Buoyed by the acquisition of goaltender Devan Dubnyk, Minnesota is 10-1-1 in its last 12 to move within a point of eighth place in the Western Conference. The Wild won the first three meetings with the Stars this season before they were throttled at Dallas 7-1 on Jan. 3.
