The New York Rangers could receive a jolt to their lineup on Wednesday as captain Ryan McDonagh is in line to return against the visiting Chicago Blackhawks. McDonagh has been sidelined for four games with a concussion after being punched by Philadelphia's Wayne Simmonds on Feb. 6.

The Montreal Canadiens had shown signs of life by ripping off three consecutive wins at home, but the positive vibes quickly dissipated following back-to-back beatings in Buffalo and Arizona. The free-falling Canadiens will look to salvage their three-game road trip when they visit former goaltender Patrick Roy and the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday night.
Minnesota at Calgary 10:00 PM ET
After ending their eight-game winless skid in John Torchetti's debut as interim coach, the Minnesota Wild look to post consecutive victories for the first time in nearly two months when they visit the Calgary Flames on Wednesday. Minnesota secured just its second win in 15 contests on Monday when it opened a three-game road trip with a 5-2 victory over Vancouver.
