Toronto at Columbus 7:00 PM ET
One night after breaking out offensively, the Toronto Maple Leafs attempt to strengthen their hold on a wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference when they visit the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday. Toronto scored a total of five goals while going 1-1-1 over the first three contests of its four-game homestand before erupting for seven in Tuesday's triumph over the New York Islanders.
St. Louis at Detroit 8:00 PM ET
The St. Louis Blues have surged back into postseason contention since making a coaching change, winning five of six games in February after Mike Yeo replaced Ken Hitchcock. The Blues have played superbly away from home of late and can wrap up a perfect five-game road trip when they visit the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday night.
Philadelphia at Calgary 9:30 PM ET
Wayne Simmonds and Michal Neuvirth are starting to heat up and the Philadelphia Flyers hope their respective temperatures continue to rise on Wednesday as the club opens a three-game road trip against the Calgary Flames. Simmonds has scored in back-to-back contests to raise his team-leading goal total to 23 and had a goal and an assist as the Flyers started their 10-game winning streak with a 5-3 victory over the Flames on Nov. 27.
Florida at San Jose 10:30 PM ET
Brent Burns' torrid play this season has the 31-year-old as the unquestioned front-runner to capture the Norris Trophy and perhaps the first defenseman to win the scoring title since the legendary Bobby Orr in 1974-75. With four multi-point performances in seven games since the All-Star break, Burns looks to continue his good fortune on Wednesday as the host San Jose Sharks vie for their second straight season sweep of the Florida Panthers.
