The New York Rangers would be sitting in a tie for first place in the Atlantic Division, but the margin of error is much smaller in the highly competitive Metropolitan. Coming off their first home victory of 2017, the Rangers attempt to extend their winning streak to four games when they host the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday night.

The Vancouver Canucks are one point out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, thanks to an impressive record at home. However, the Canucks are tied with Arizona for the fewest road wins (five) in the NHL, a mark they will try to improve upon when they visit the league-worst Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday night.

The Edmonton Oilers are making a spirited run for first place in the Pacific Division and get a chance to make up ground with back-to-back matchups against the two teams ahead of them. Riding a six-game point streak (5-0-1), the surging Oilers continue their three-game road trip with a visit to the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday night.
