Two teams trying to stay in striking distance of a playoff spot after some inconsistent performances of late meet when the Calgary Flames visit the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday. Carolina has taken a step back at 1-2-1 in its last four games after winning four in a row, while the Flames have been average of late (2-3-1) after capturing 11 of their previous 15 contests.
St. Louis at Chicago 7:00 PM ET
The defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks hope to make the most of their only home contest during an eight-game stretch when they meet the St. Louis Blues on Sunday. Chicago wrapped up a three-game road trip with a 4-0 loss at Florida on Friday - its second straight setback since a franchise-record 12-game winning streak ended with a 2-1 defeat at Tampa Bay on Thursday.
Los Angeles at San Jose 10:00 PM ET
The San Jose Sharks attempt to extend their point streak to nine games when they host the suddenly slumping Los Angeles Kings on Sunday. San Jose has gone 7-0-1 since beginning the month with back-to-back losses, a run that includes a 4-3 triumph over Minnesota on Saturday in the opener of its three-game homestand.
