Preview Roundups

NY Rangers at Detroit 12:30 PM ET
Henrik Lundqvist ended a dispiriting stretch last time out and the veteran goalie looks to build off that effort when his New York Rangers visit the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday afternoon. Lundqvist, who allowed 20 goals in his previous four contests, turned aside 23-of-25 shots in a 5-2 victory at Toronto on Friday as the Rangers snapped a three-game slide.
Boston at Pittsburgh 3:00 PM ET
Boston tries to snap a three-game losing streak when it visits the explosive Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday in what could be the final game for the winningest coach in Bruins history. The rumblings concerning Claude Julien's job security are getting louder after Friday's 1-0 loss to Chicago dropped Boston to 8-10-5 in its last 23 games as it clings to a playoff spot in the crowded Eastern Conference and tries to reach the Stanley Cup playoffs after a two-season drought.
Columbus at Ottawa 5:00 PM ET
The Columbus Blue Jackets look to post back-to-back victories for the first time since their franchise-record 16-game winning streak when they visit the Ottawa Senators on Sunday. Columbus was outshot badly in the final two periods Saturday but received 35 saves from Sergei Bobrovsky in a 3-2 triumph over Carolina that improved the club to 4-5-0 over the nine contests following the streak.
Philadelphia at NY Islanders 6:00 PM ET
The New York Islanders have been perfect under interim coach Doug Weight and look to remain that way Sunday, when they continue their six-game homestand against the Metropolitan Division-rival Philadelphia Flyers. Weight, who spent the final three seasons of his playing career with the Islanders, replaced the fired Jack Capuano prior to the stretch at Barclays Center - which has begun with wins over Dallas and Los Angeles.
Vancouver at Chicago 7:30 PM ET
The Vancouver Canucks continue pursuit of a Stanley Cup playoff spot when they visit the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday, hoping to ride the momentum of their captain recording his 1,000th point to their third straight victory. Henrik Sedin became the 85th player in NHL history to accomplish the feat - the 38th to do it with one franchise - with a goal on an assist from twin brother Daniel (968 career points) in Friday's 2-1 victory over Florida, but Henrik was quick to credit others.
Nashville at Minnesota 8:00 PM ET
Ryan Ellis has been wielding a hot stick of late, and the Nashville Predators hope the defenseman continues his offensive surge Sunday as they conclude their five-game road trip in search of their third straight win when they visit the Minnesota Wild. Ellis enters having scored three goals in two games for the first time in his career and added the decisive tally in the shootout of Nashville's 3-2 triumph in Edmonton on Friday.
