Martez Walker scored 23 points, and fellow guard Sherron Dorsey-Walker added 21 points as Oakland rallied from a 20-point, second-half deficit to upset Clemson 74-69 in a first-round National Invitation Tournament game Tuesday night at Littlejohn Coliseum.

Freshman Josh Okogie scored 18 of his game-high 24 points in the second half to lead Georgia Tech to a 75-63 win over Indiana in the first round of the NIT on Tuesday at McCamish Pavilion.

Kansas State coach Bruce Weber looked at the stats sheet Tuesday night and saw that his team had just shot 66 percent in an NCAA Tournament game.

Senior guard ShawnDre' Jones scored 22 points, and hot-shooting Richmond beat Alabama 71-64 Tuesday in the first round of the NIT at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Chandler Hutchison scored a career high 34 points and Marcus Dickinson added 12 to rally No. 6 seed Boise State for a 73-68 victory over No. 3 seed Utah in the first round of the NIT on Tuesday.

Dedrick Basile had the hot hand early to help eighth-seeded Cal State Bakersfield oust top-seeded and short-handed California 73-66 in the first round of the NIT on Tuesay night at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley, Calif.
