Marquette will get one more confidence-builder Sunday against visiting Presbyterian before beginning Big East play. The Golden Eagles ran their winning streak to eight games last week by dispatching Chicago State and will look for their third blowout victory over the Blue Hose in as many meetings.
Texas Southern at Syracuse 2:00 PM ET
In its final tuneup before ACC action tips off, Syracuse welcomes Texas Southern to the Carrier Dome on Sunday afternoon. The Orange have won two straight following a stretch of three losses in four games and have a good chance to make it three victories in a row against a struggling Tigers squad.
Marshall at Maryland 4:00 PM ET
Melo Trimble is the primary star for Maryland, but the sophomore point guard hardly is a one-man show. Trimble and the fourth-ranked Terrapins aim to close their non-conference schedule on a high note Sunday versus visiting Marshall.

Ohio State's non-conference slate is ending in a much prettier fashion than it began. The Buckeyes take aim at their fourth straight triumph Sunday, when they host South Carolina State.
Loyola-Maryland at Northwestern 8:00 PM ET
Things looks good on paper for Northwestern on Sunday, as their matchup with visiting Loyola Maryland should heavily favor the Wildcats on the court. Northwestern has won eight straight games, while the Greyhounds are losers of their last seven.
Carroll College at Stanford 9:00 PM ET
To no one’s surprise, Stanford is heading into Pac-12 play with far more questions than answers. The Cardinal, who lost their three leading scorers from last season to graduation, faces its final nonconference test Sunday against visiting Carroll College, an NAIA school from Helena, Mont.
