Preview Roundups
March 02, 2016
Mississippi St. at Mississippi 7:00 PM ET
SEC scoring leader Stefan Moody was one of a trio of Rebels starters who missed an 83-77 loss at in-state rival Mississippi State on Jan. 23. But all three will be back for the Senior Day rematch on Wednesday when Ole Miss plays its final regular-season home game.
Texas Tech at West Virginia 7:00 PM ET

Texas Tech looks like a classic bubble team going into the final week of the regular season, but it can greatly strengthen its case by pulling off an upset at No. 9 West Virginia on Wednesday. The Mountaineers, meanwhile, are a lock for the NCAA Tournament but could use a win over the Red Raiders to secure the No. 2 seed in the Big 12 tournament.

Tulane at Central Florida 7:00 PM ET
UCF looks to snap a seven-game skid in the American Athletic Conference when it hosts Tulane on Wednesday. The Knights beat the Green Wave 70-62 on Feb. 4 for their last victory and only one in the last 11 games, and have won the last six meetings.
Pittsburgh at Virginia Tech 7:00 PM ET
Pittsburgh brings significant momentum into its game at Virginia Tech on Wednesday as it continues to fight for its NCAA Tournament life. The Panthers knocked off No. 21 Duke 76-62 on Sunday for their third victory in four games and first in six contests against a ranked opponent this season, and may need to win their final two regular-season contests (at Georgia Tech on Saturday) to maintain their projected spot as one of seven ACC teams on the Big Dance floor.
Miami-Florida at Notre Dame 7:00 PM ET
No. 7 Miami (Fla.) is two wins away from at least a share of the ACC regular-season title, but winning in South Bend against Notre Dame on Wednesday will be no easy task. The Fighting Irish are 13-1 at home and should be in a foul mood after suffering a 77-56 loss at Florida State last time out.
Michigan St at Rutgers 7:00 PM ET
Michigan State may be a longshot to win the Big Ten regular-season title, but it is hard to argue that any other team in the conference is playing at the same level at the moment. The third-ranked Spartans have won eight of their last nine and appear poised to add another victory to that total Wednesday when they visit hapless Rutgers.
Texas Christian at Kansas St. 8:00 PM ET

Two struggling Big 12 teams who combined for three victories in the month of February meet Wednesday when Kansas State hosts TCU. That means the major storylines are few and far between, leaving the Wildcats’ Senior Night as the game’s headliner.

Seton Hall at Butler 8:30 PM ET

A pair of teams that are likely in the Big Dance but certainly want more wins to make sure face off when Seton Hall travels to take on Butler in a Big East Conference contest Wednesday. The Pirates come in off an upset of No. 5 Xavier for their fourth straight victory, while the Bulldogs have taken five of their last seven, with the only losses coming to the Musketeers and then-No. 1 Villanova.

Arkansas at Alabama 9:00 PM ET
Arkansas features one of the top scoring trios in the country, and the Razorbacks’ slim NCAA Tournament hopes remain alive thanks to a three-game winning streak entering Wednesday’s contest at Alabama. The matchup pits two teams who have at times looked like dark horse candidates to steal a tourney berth from the middle of the SEC standings, and Alabama finds itself squarely in the bubble conversation entering two big tests this week against Arkansas and Georgia.
East Carolina at South Florida 9:00 PM ET
USF says goodbye to four seniors, including leading rebounder Jaleel Cousins, when it meets visiting East Carolina on Wednesday in an American Athletic Conference game. Nehemias Morillo, Angel Nunez and Tre' Bryant also play their final regular season home game for the Bulls, who look to sweep the season series from the Pirates.
Wisconsin at Minnesota 9:00 PM ET
Wisconsin looks to continue its winning ways when it hits the road to face Minnesota on Wednesday. The surging Badgers have won 10 of their last 11 games -including a 68-57 victory over Michigan on Sunday - to move on the right side of the bubble, and can still still earn a share of the Big Ten title with No. 11 Indiana if they win out and the Hoosiers lose their final two games of the regular season.
Boston College at N.C. State 9:00 PM ET
With two Atlantic Coast Conference games remaining, Boston College needs a win to avoid setting a dubious record. The Eagles will try for a first league triumph Wednesday when they play North Carolina State in the Wolfpack’s home finale.
Creighton at Providence 9:00 PM ET
Kris Dunn has been largely absent of late for Providence, but the star guard will be front and center for his home finale when the Friars host Creighton on Wednesday. Dunn - who hit a buzzer beater to top the Bluejays earlier this season - will be honored along with Junior Lomomba before their final game at the Dunkin' Donuts Center, which will be crowded with fans hoping to see their floor general return to form.
Oregon at UCLA 9:00 PM ET
Oregon can clinch at least a share of the Pac-12 regular-season title and the conference's No. 1 seed for the upcoming tournament if the No. 10 Ducks can beat UCLA on the road Wednesday night in their penultimate game of the regular season. Oregon has won its last three, all by double figures at home after losing both games on its last road swing to No. 25 California and Stanford, and comes into the week a game up in the loss column over No. 13 Utah and California.
Washington St. at Washington 11:00 PM ET
Washington has lost six of seven to take itself out of the hunt for first place in the Pac-12, but the Huskies can possibly improve their seeding for the upcoming conference tournament with a victory Wednesday night against visiting Washington State in the final regular-season game for both teams. Washington seemed to be in good shape for a possible title run following an overtime win against Arizona State on Feb. 3, which lifted the Huskies to 7-3 in conference play, but they were unable to con
Oregon St. at Southern California 11:00 PM ET
Oregon State and USC enter the final week of Pac-12 Conference play in a three-way for sixth place with Stanford. Both will be looking to improve their conference tournament seeding and NCAA Tournament bubble status when they meet Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
