Preview Roundups
February 18, 2018
Duke at Clemson 1:00 PM ET
Duke and Clemson are tied for second place in the ACC standings entering Sunday's showdown. The 10th-ranked Blue Devils are visiting the 12th-ranked Tigers, who are hoping to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time this season, in a matchup of two teams facing legitimate injury issues.
Ohio St. at Michigan 1:00 PM ET
Ninth-ranked Ohio State looks to overcome its last major roadblock in the search for its first Big Ten regular-season title since 2012 when it renews hostilities with No. 21 Michigan on the road Sunday. The Buckeyes suffered a 79-56 setback to Penn State on Thursday to allow top-ranked Michigan State to grab a share of the Big Ten lead, and Ohio State hopes to avoid another slip-up by completing the season sweep of the Wolverines.
DePaul at Seton Hall 1:00 PM ET
Seton Hall coach Kevin Willard, whose team plays visiting DePaul on Sunday in a Big East game, has begun looking for any kind of a spark from some unusual places. Sandro Mamukelashvili saw his first extended action since December, but it wasn't enough as the Pirates gave up 100 points for the first time under Willard in Wednesday's loss to No. 4 Xavier.
Connecticut at East Carolina 3:00 PM ET
East Carolina is beginning to show signs of life in the American Athletic Conference and will seek back-to-back wins for the first time since early December when it hosts Connecticut on Sunday. The Pirates have won two of their last three contests (by a combined total of five points) and now will take on the scuffling Huskies.
South Florida at Tulsa 3:00 PM ET

Tulsa looks to stay perfect against South Florida and pick up its fifth straight win overall when it hosts the struggling Bulls on Sunday. The Golden Hurricane have won all six meetings in the series, which dates only to when both teams joined the American Athletic Conference in 2015.

Nebraska at Illinois 3:30 PM ET
Even as Nebraska is ascending to heights the program hasn't reached in decades, coach Tim Miles' message to his team prior to its latest victory was the Cornhuskers are a No. 1 seed in the NIT "based on what the numbers reflect." Nebraska will try to take another step closer to ensuring its spot in the Big Dance on Sunday when it visits Illinois in search of its first seven-game winning streak in conference play since 1977-78.
Wichita St. at Cincinnati 4:00 PM ET
Fifth-ranked Cincinnati and No. 18 Wichita State last met in 1981, but the American Athletic Conference powers will square off twice in two weeks beginning Sunday in Highland Heights, Ky. The Bearcats, who have won 39 straight home contests, had their 16-game winning streak snapped with a 67-62 loss at Houston on Thursday despite being ahead by 13 in the first half, but lead the AAC by two games over the Shockers and Cougars.
Houston at Temple 4:00 PM ET
Temple gets another chance Sunday to improve its standing on the bubble. The Owls host red-hot Houston just days after missing out on a signature win at Wichita State.
Pittsburgh at Florida State 6:00 PM ET

For about 15 minutes on Tuesday it looked like Pittsburgh might end its school-record 13-game losing streak, but the Panthers couldn’t hold a 15-point edge against Boston College and were stomped 81-58. Pittsburgh will try again Saturday when it visits a Florida State team that is coming off an overtime victory against No. 12 Clemson.

Penn St. at Purdue 8:00 PM ET
A pair of Big Ten teams trending in opposite directions meet Sunday night when surging Penn State visits Purdue, which has dropped three in a row. The seventh-ranked Boilermakers were primed to claim their second straight regular-season conference crown with 12 straight victories to open Big Ten play, but narrow losses to Ohio State, Michigan State and Wisconsin have altered their course.
Stanford at California 8:00 PM ET
Despite losing two straight games and five of its past seven, Stanford remains just one game out of second place in the Pac-12 standings. The Cardinal look to keep pace in the tight conference race Sunday against host California, which rallied from a 17-point deficit to post a 77-74 victory in the teams’ first meeting on Dec. 30.
