Preview Roundups
February 12, 2017
Michigan at Indiana 1:00 PM ET
Michigan still has a lot of work left to do if it hopes to make the Big Dance for the sixth time in seven seasons, but Derrick Walton Jr. is doing everything in his power lately to make it happen. The senior guard attempts to continue his month-long tear Sunday when the visiting Wolverines eye a season sweep of Indiana.
Temple at Memphis 2:00 PM ET
Memphis has 18 wins and an 8-4 conference record, not to mention some quality victories, but the Tigers still are on the wrong side of the NCAA Tournament bubble. Memphis can continue its push toward the Big Dance with a home win against Temple on Sunday.
Cincinnati at Southern Methodist 4:00 PM ET
First place in the American Athletic Conference is at stake when No. 11 Cincinnati visits SMU on Sunday in a battle of red-hot teams. Cincinnati rides a 15-game win streak into the showdown while the Mustangs have won seven straight and 17 of their last 18 with the only loss coming against the Bearcats, who nearly blew a 15-point second-half lead before holding off SMU 66-64 on Jan. 12 behind 16 points from senior guard Troy Caupain.
Oregon St. at UCLA 5:00 PM ET
Isaac Hamilton hit rock bottom when UCLA visited Oregon State six weeks ago, missing all 10 field goal attempts and finishing scoreless in the 13-point victory, but he has lifted himself back up as the No. 9 Bruins renew acquaintances with the Beavers on Sunday at Pauley Pavilion. Hamilton, the team's leading scorer last season at 16.8 points, is averaging 15.3 points over the last nine games and shooting 45.9 percent to keep his season marks at 14.4 points and 45.5 percent.
Northwestern at Wisconsin 6:30 PM ET
Fifth-ranked Wisconsin looks to extend its home winning streak to 20 games when it tangles with Northwestern in a key Big Ten matchup on Sunday. The Badgers have won eight consecutive games, including a 70-69 overtime victory against Nebraska on Thursday, to remain 1.5 games ahead of No. 18 Purdue at the top of the conference standings, and hopes to pull away by avenging a 70-65 defeat to the Wildcats last season.
Virginia at Virginia Tech 6:30 PM ET
Sandwiched between a big win over Louisville and a heavyweight fight versus Duke, No. 13 Virginia will need little help getting up for its visit to in-state rival Virginia Tech in the Commonwealth Clash on Sunday. The Cavaliers have owned the series of late, winning nine of the last 10 games, including a 71-48 thrashing at home on Feb. 1.
Washington St. at Colorado 8:30 PM ET

Surging Colorado is making some late-season noise in the Pac-12 with four wins in its last five games, including a victory over a top-10 Oregon team. The Buffaloes will be out to maintain that momentum Sunday when they host struggling Washington State.
