February 09, 2016
Bowie State at Maryland 6:00 PM ET
Second-ranked Maryland looks to stay unbeaten at home when it steps out of Big Ten play to face Division II Bowie State on Tuesday. The Terrapins are 13-0 at the Xfinity Center and are coming off a hard-fought 72-61 victory over No.16 Purdue to move within a half-game of third-ranked Iowa at the top of the conference standings.
Auburn at Tennessee 7:00 PM ET
Auburn tries to shake itself out of a five-game losing streak when it travels to take on a Tennessee squad trying get back on the winning track Tuesday in an SEC contest. The Tigers are dealing with the suspension of leading scorer Kareem Canty, while the Volunteers are looking for a little revenge after falling to Auburn in early January by six.
West Virginia at Kansas 7:00 PM ET
First-place West Virginia has the chance to take an important step forward toward winning the Big 12 regular-season title when it visits No. 6 Kansas on Tuesday. The 10th-ranked Mountaineers have a one-game lead as of Monday over the Jayhawks, Oklahoma and Texas in the highly competitive conference and have won three of the past four meetings with Kansas.
Cincinnati at Central Florida 7:00 PM ET
Cincinnati, which finds itself in a fourth-place tie with Tulsa in the American Athletic Conference and also in the middle of NCAA Tournament bubble talk, will try to bounce back from a 63-59 loss at Memphis when it visits UCF on Tuesday. It marks the third game in seven days for the Bearcats, who are 6-0 all-time against the Knights and have won both of the two previous meetings in Orlando.
Pittsburgh at Miami-Florida 7:00 PM ET
No. 11 Miami (Fla.) looks to continue its ACC home dominance on Tuesday night when it hosts Pittsburgh, which is coming off a home loss to No. 7 Virginia. The Hurricanes are 5-0 at home in conference play, winning those games by an average of 12 points, and are 11-1 overall at the BankUnited Center.
Michigan St at Purdue 7:00 PM ET
Michigan State has suddenly become a torrid 3-point shooting team and the long-range marksmanship has the ninth-ranked Spartans seeking their fifth consecutive victory when they visit No. 16 Purdue in Tuesday's Big Ten contest. Michigan State has knocked down 47 3-pointers and is shooting 58.8 percent from behind the arc over the past three games in a metamorphosis that coach Tom Izzo has mixed feelings about.
Duquesne at Dayton 7:00 PM ET

Dayton looks to continue its dominance at home and preserve at least a share of the top spot in the Atlantic 10 standings when it hosts Duquesne on Tuesday. The 17th-ranked Flyers have won 34 of their last 35 home games, including 19 straight in conference play.

Virginia Tech at Virginia 8:00 PM ET
Virginia Tech is staring at another March missing out on the NCAA Tournament but can at least point to a win over rival Virginia as proof of a successful season. The Hokies will try to make it two victories over the Cavaliers this season when they visit Virginia on Tuesday.
Northwestern at Ohio St. 8:00 PM ET
Northwestern will be looking for its first win at Ohio State since the 1976-77 season when the Wildcats hit the road for a Big Ten game Tuesday. Northwestern has lost 28 of the last 29 overall against the Buckeyes, most recently a 65-56 setback against visiting Ohio State on Jan. 6.
North Carolina at Boston College 8:00 PM ET
Consecutive losses may have altered the mindset for No. 8 North Carolina, but a third straight setback would be stunning. That's because the Tar Heels' next opponent comes in the form of hapless Boston College - which has barely been competitive in a winless ACC run - on Tuesday night in Chestnut Hill.
Xavier at Creighton 8:00 PM ET

No. 4 Xavier put on a shooting display, making a season-high 13 3-point shots and connecting on 65 percent of its field goals in Saturday's win over Marquette. The Musketeers on Tuesday take their high-potent offense to Creighton to take on a Bluejays squad whose offense is actually ranked higher than Xavier's.

Wichita St. at Drake 8:00 PM ET
Wichita State attempts to rebound from its first Missouri Valley Conference loss in more than a year when it visits struggling Drake on Tuesday. The 24th-ranked Shockers were stunned 58-53 by Illinois State on Saturday after winning 19 straight league games dating back to Jan. 31, 2015.
Villanova at DePaul 8:30 PM ET
Villanova is No. 1 for the first time since USA Today took over control of the Coaches Poll before the 1991-92 season. The newly minted Wildcats hope to defend their prestigious ranking Tuesday when they visit DePaul in a Big East affair.
Arkansas at Mississippi St. 9:00 PM ET
Arkansas will have two chances to fix its road woes this week, starting Tuesday night at Mississippi State. The Razorbacks are 1-6 on the road, losing three straight SEC games away from home by a combined nine points since winning at last-place Missouri on Jan. 12.
Georgia at Kentucky 9:00 PM ET
Figuring out Kentucky this season has not been easy for opponents, for fans of Big Blue Nation or even for coach John Calipari. The 21st-ranked Wildcats host Georgia on Tuesday and the question is which team will show up, the squad that shredded Florida and its vaunted defense for 50 first-half points in a 19-point victory Saturday, or the shaky squad that squandered a 21-point lead in an upset loss to Tennessee, giving Kentucky a rare two-game losing streak.
Mississippi at Florida 9:00 PM ET

Ole Miss is making a charge up the Southeastern Conference standings, and it might have help on the way. Big man Sebastian Saiz (12.8 points, 9.8 rebounds) has been cleared to return from an eye injury and will be a game-time decision when the Rebels pay a visit to Florida on Tuesday.
