New York at Chicago 8:00 PM ET
The New York Knicks keep faltering while the Chicago Bulls are revived with point guard Derrick Rose excelling as the teams square off Thursday in Chicago. The contest received national television billing and that doesn’t seem to fit the Knicks, who have lost 12 of 13 games while possessing the second-worst record in the NBA. The Bulls are six games above .500 and routed New York 104-80 on Oct. 29 by dominating the interior.
New Orleans at Houston 8:30 PM ET
The Houston Rockets look to win their fourth consecutive game when they host the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday. The Rockets have won seven of their last eight contests — including a wild 115-111 overtime victory at Denver on Wednesday — to keep pace with the Memphis Grizzlies at the top of the Southwest Division. Houston begins a stretch of three straight games at the Toyota Center and hopes to win its fourth in a row at home by avenging a 105-100 setback to the Pelicans on April 16.
Milwaukee at Sacramento 10:00 PM ET
The four-game road trip is only halfway done for the Milwaukee Bucks, but it has already gone steeply downhill heading into Thursday's game against the Sacramento Kings. Jabari Parker tore his left ACL in Monday’s victory at the Phoenix Suns and 6-11 shooting guard Giannis Antetokounmpo sprained his left ankle in Wednesday’s loss at the Portland Trail Blazers. Kings center DeMarcus Cousins has been upgraded to questionable after missing the last 10 games with viral meningitis.
Oklahoma City at Golden State 10:30 PM ET
Their franchise-record winning streak had to end eventually, and the Golden State Warriors will try to bounce back from a rare loss when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. The Warriors had won 16 in a row before falling at Memphis 105-98 on Tuesday at the end of a stretch of three road games in four days. The Thunder are enjoying their own Kevin Durant- and Russell Westbrook-inspired stretch of good fortune and have won seven straight.
