Preview Roundups

Minnesota at Washington 7:00 PM ET
It has been over 35 years since Washington has been 12 games over .500, but the franchise has a good chance to reach that mark when it wraps up a three-game homestand against lowly Minnesota on Tuesday. The Wizards' surge toward the top of the Eastern Conference continued with a 93-84 triumph over Utah on Sunday, their fourth straight win and eighth in nine games overall. Included in the run is a seven-game winning streak at home and five straight victories against Western Conference opponents.
Miami at Brooklyn 7:30 PM ET
The Miami Heat just got back from a tough road trip only to fall flat in their first game home and are now dealing with some crushing injuries. The Heat and their depleted roster with try to coax a third win in the last nine games when they visit the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday. The Nets, who fell to Miami in five games in the Eastern Conference semifinals last spring, took advantage of two of the worst teams in the East to put together back-to-back wins.
Golden State at Memphis 8:00 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors survived a back-to-back on the road with their winning streak intact and are staring at their toughest test of the last month. The Warriors will attempt to push their franchise-record winning streak to 17 games when they visit the team closest to them in the Western Conference in the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday. The Grizzlies are winners of four in a row but needed overtimes to knock off lowly Charlotte and Philadelphia in the last two.
Utah at New Orleans 8:00 PM ET
Anthony Davis had his way with the Utah Jazz last month but the New Orleans star may not be suited up when the Pelicans host Utah on Tuesday. Davis has missed one game so far due to a mysterious chest contusion as neither Davis nor the team has figured out when the injury occurred. Davis scored a career-high 43 points and grabbed 14 rebounds when New Orleans posted a 106-94 victory over the Jazz on Nov. 22.
Dallas at New York 8:00 PM ET
Dallas center Tyson Chandler shined earlier this season in the first game against the New York Knicks, his former team. Chandler and the Mavericks get another crack at the woeful Knicks in his return to Madison Square Garden on Tuesday. The big man, who had 11 points and 12 rebounds in his team's 105-98 loss to Golden State on Saturday, spent the past three seasons with New York - including his only All-Star campaign - before producing his best effort this season against the Knicks on Nov. 26.
Oklahoma City at Sacramento 10:30 PM ET
The Sacramento Kings fired coach Mike Malone after 24 games and interim coach Tyrone Corbin will run the squad on Tuesday when the red-hot Oklahoma City Thunder visit town. Malone was surprisingly fired early in his second season on the job as the club’s fortunes dropped with center DeMarcus Cousins sidelined with viral meningitis. The Kings have lost eight of their last 10 games and Cousins has been sidelined for the last nine contests.
