Preview Roundups
December 15, 2016
Chicago at Milwaukee 8:00 PM ET
The Milwaukee Bucks were on their way up with wins in five of six before hitting a skid and dropping three straight. The Bucks will try to snap the slide when they return home to host the Central Division-rival Chicago Bulls in the opener of a home-and-home set on Thursday.
Indiana at New Orleans 8:00 PM ET
The New Orleans Pelicans are nearing the point of the season in which they need to start reeling off victories or risk playing out the string over the second half of the campaign. New Orleans dropped six of its last seven contests and is actually hoping that a loss -- a close one to Golden State -- can prompt a turnaround when it hosts the Indiana Pacers on Thursday.
Portland at Denver 9:00 PM ET
The Denver Nuggets dropped eight of their last 11 games but may have bottomed out when they finished out a six-game road trip with a 112-92 setback at lowly Dallas on Monday. The Nuggets will try to turn things around when they return home to host Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday.
San Antonio at Phoenix 9:00 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs are the second NBA team to reach 20 wins this season and they attempt to add another to the total when they host the Phoenix Suns on Thursday. San Antonio won for the 15th time in the past 17 games when it delivered a 108-101 home win over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.
New York at Golden State 10:30 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors are no longer dominating teams from start to finish like they were during a 12-game winning streak last month, but the stars are still finding ways to come through when it matters. Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and company will try to make the latest winning streak three straight when they host the New York Knicks on Thursday.
