Preview Roundups
November 27, 2016
Cleveland at Philadelphia 1:00 PM ET
The Cleveland Cavaliers are dropping 3-pointers at a record pace and became the first team in NBA history to bury at least 20 from behind the arc in consecutive games while blowing out the Dallas Mavericks 128-90 on Friday. The Philadelphia 76ers, who host the Cavaliers on Sunday, don't have that kind of firepower from long range but are becoming an exciting team nonetheless.
Denver at Phoenix 3:30 PM ET
The Denver Nuggets - or whatever's left of them - visit the Phoenix Suns on Sunday afternoon after losing to Oklahoma City 132-129 in overtime Friday without five of their players. Danilo Gallinari, Denver's second-leading scorer at 16.8 points, headlines the quintet with a thigh injury that sidelined him for the last two games.
Sacramento at Brooklyn 6:00 PM ET
The downward spiral of the Brooklyn Nets reached six straight losses on Friday, and the team does not appear to be getting any closer to a victory. The Nets will try to end their slide when they host the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night.
Milwaukee at Orlando 6:00 PM ET
The Orlando Magic face an early must-win situation as they prepare to host the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday with a tough five-game road trip looming. Orlando, which opens its trek against the red-hot San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday, dropped three in a row to fall four games below .500 for the first time this season after an uneven 94-91 loss to Washington on Friday at home.

L.A. Clippers at Indiana 6:00 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers finally stumbled on Friday and ended up with their third loss. The Clippers will try not to let that one setback snowball into another when they make the third stop on a six-game road trip by visiting the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.
New Orleans at Dallas 7:00 PM ET
Not even the healthy return of future Hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki is enough to kick-start the Dallas Mavericks offense. The Mavericks are last in the NBA in scoring at an average of 91.5 points and will try to avoid a ninth consecutive loss when they host the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday.
Houston at Portland 9:00 PM ET
The Houston Rockets aren't afraid to hoist up shots from anywhere as the NBA leaders in 3-point field goal attempts visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. Houston kicked off its second five-game road trip of the young season with its fourth victory in five contests - a 117-104 win over Sacramento on Friday behind an NBA-record 50 attempts from 3-point range and James Harden's fourth triple-double of the season.
Atlanta at L.A. Lakers 9:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Lakers host the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday in a matchup of two teams who have been good at times through the season’s first month, but currently are struggling. Both teams lost four of their past five games and the struggles are coming at different ends of the floor with the Hawks sputtering on offense – scoring a season-worst 68 points in Friday’s loss at Utah - while the Lakers gave up 258 points in back-to-back losses to Golden State.
