Preview Roundups
November 27, 2015
Cleveland at Charlotte 7:00 PM ET
The Charlotte Hornets are quietly beginning to look like one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference and will get another chance to prove themselves when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday. The Cavaliers began their two-game road trip with a loss at Toronto on Wednesday and have dropped three in a row away from home.
Milwaukee at Orlando 7:00 PM ET
A change in the starting lineup helped spark a victory for the Orlando Magic last time out and they look to build off it when the struggling Milwaukee Bucks pay a visit on Friday. Victor Oladipo responded with a season-high 24 points after moving to the bench as the Magic snapped a two-game slide with a 100-91 win over New York on Wednesday.
Washington at Boston 7:30 PM ET
When the Washington Wizards lose they tend to do so in an impressive manner. After another meltdown - this time in historic fashion - the Wizards will try to bounce back when they visit Boston on Friday night.
Miami at New York 7:30 PM ET
The New York Knicks lost a little steam during a two-game stretch in Florida and look to regain their footing with a four-game homestand that begins Friday against the Miami Heat. The Knicks lost at Miami and Orlando by an average of 13 points after starting the trip with impressive wins against Oklahoma City and Houston.
Chicago at Indiana 8:00 PM ET
The Indiana Pacers have spent the last three games destroying their opponents and are winners of nine of their last 11 contests. The Pacers will get a chance to atone for one of those two setbacks when they host the Chicago Bulls on Friday.
Philadelphia at Houston 8:00 PM ET
The Philadelphia 76ers will be on the verge of another ugly milestone when they visit Houston on Friday in a matchup of team teams desperate for a victory. The 76ers blew an 11-point fourth-quarter lead in a loss at Boston on Wednesday, their NBA record-tying 26th straight defeat dating to last season, which also pulled them within two of the worst start in league history.
Atlanta at Memphis 8:00 PM ET
The Memphis Grizzlies are shaking off a slow start with wins in six of their last seven games while turning the defense back into a strong unit. The Grizzlies will try to hold their fifth straight opponent under 100 points when they host the Atlanta Hawks on Friday.
Detroit at Oklahoma City 8:00 PM ET
The Detroit Pistons are trying to find consistent effort with their young team and will need to bring the “A” game when they visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday. The Pistons looked terrible in back-to-back losses before crushing the Miami Heat on Wednesday while the Thunder have won three straight.
San Antonio at Denver 9:00 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs seek their ninth consecutive victory over Denver when they visit the Nuggets on Friday. San Antonio kept its streak alive earlier this month when point guard Tony Parker scored a season-best 25 points in a 109-98 home win on Nov. 18.
Golden State at Phoenix 9:30 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors have set an NBA record with 16 straight wins to start the season. But a treacherous sequence looms as Friday's visit to the Phoenix Suns begins a stretch in which eight of the next nine games are on the road.
Minnesota at Sacramento 10:00 PM ET
Sacramento small forward Rudy Gay has delivered back-to-back stellar performances and the Kings hope to receive another strong outing from Gay when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. Gay is averaging 32 points over the past two games, including a season-best 36 in Wednesday's 129-118 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
New Orleans at L.A. Clippers 10:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers have been one of the more disappointing teams in the NBA this season and look to get back to the .500 mark when they host the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday. Los Angeles is slumping with four losses in its last five games and suffered a dreadful 102-91 home loss to the Utah Jazz on Wednesday.
