Preview Roundups
November 22, 2015
Toronto at L.A. Clippers 3:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers suffered one demoralizing loss and let the hangover slip into the next game as well. The Clippers will try to avoid a third consecutive setback when they host the scuffling Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
Boston at Brooklyn 6:00 PM ET
The Boston Celtics are playing for the present and the future each time they face the Brooklyn Nets this season, and so far both are looking up. The Celtics will try to sweep the home-and-home set when they visit the Nets on Sunday.
Phoenix at New Orleans 6:00 PM ET
The New Orleans Pelicans try to record back-to-back victories for the first time this season when they host the surging Phoenix Suns on Sunday night. All-Star Anthony Davis led the way with 20 points and 18 rebounds while Ryan Anderson scored 30 as the Pelicans knocked off the San Antonio Spurs 104-90 on Friday night to snap a five-game losing streak.
Dallas at Oklahoma City 7:00 PM ET
The Dallas Mavericks are winners of six in a row and Deron Williams is beginning to turn back the clock with his offensive performance. Williams’ offense may become secondary to his ability to stay in front of Russell Westbrook when the Mavericks visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.
Golden State at Denver 8:00 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors have been tested in each of their last two games and came out on top, keeping their perfect season alive. The Warriors will try to pass the 1957-58 Boston Celtics for the most consecutive wins to start a season by a defending champ and match the all-time record shared by the 1993-94 Houston Rockets and 1948-49 Washington Capitols when they go for No. 15 at the Denver Nuggets on Sunday.
Portland at L.A. Lakers 9:30 PM ET
The Portland Trail Blazers ended a seven-game losing streak last time out and look to build off that when they visit the struggling Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. Damian Lillard’s 27 points gave the Blazers a 102-91 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday and they aim to extend their winning streak to five against the Lakers.
