Denver at New York 1:00 PM ET
The Cleveland Cavaliers look to win their fifth straight game when they host the Denver Nuggets on Monday. The Cavaliers have scored 110 or more points in each game during the streak and exploded for a season-high 127 in a 33-point win over the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday. Hoping to continue its climb up the Central Division standings, Cleveland won its only game against the Nuggets last season and has won the last three in the series.
Denver at New York 1:00 PM ET
The New York Knicks look to snap a seven-game losing streak when they host the Denver Nuggets on Sunday afternoon. The Knicks fell to the Utah Jazz 102-100 on Trey Burke's 3-pointer at the buzzer and hope to bounce back by beating the Nuggets for the third straight time at Madison Square Garden. "We're going to keep our head up, our chest out and keep on fighting," coach Derek Fisher told reporters. "We have another game on Sunday that we're coming back to get a win."
Milwaukee at Miami 6:00 PM ET
Occasional rest helped Dwyane Wade get to the finish line last season for Miami and that strategy is in place once again as the Heat endure their first slump of 2014-15. The Heat hope the rest and the slump come to an end when they host Milwaukee on Sunday, looking to snap a two-game slide. Wade, who played in just 54 games last season, sat out Friday's loss at Atlanta with a hamstring injury, putting a temporary halt to a very solid start for the 10-time All-Star.
Houston at Oklahoma City 7:00 PM ET
What is now known as Chesapeake Energy Arena has not been kind to James Harden since he was traded by Oklahoma City to Houston three years ago. The Rockets are 0-3 in Harden's visits and the bearded left-hander has averaged just 17.7 points on 30.3 percent shooting, including a combined 5-for-25 in his first two games back. Harden and his Houston teammates will try to do better Sunday when they visit Oklahoma City.
Golden State at L.A. Lakers 9:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Lakers are off to the worst start in franchise history and aim to win their second game of the season when they host the Golden State Warriors on Sunday. Los Angeles is just 1-8 after falling to the San Antonio Spurs on Friday and only the winless Philadelphia 76ers have won fewer games. Golden State routed the Charlotte Hornets 112-87 to continue its hot start under first-year coach Steve Kerr.
