Preview Roundups
November 11, 2016
Indiana at Philadelphia 7:00 PM ET
The Indiana Pacers put on another impressive offensive performance at home on Wednesday, and the question remains if they can do the same on the road. The Pacers will try to earn their first road victory when they wrap up a home-and-home set by visiting the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.
Cleveland at Washington 7:00 PM ET
The Washington Wizards might not need John Wall to win games, but they would prefer to have their best player on the floor until the end of each contest. Wall will try to avoid being ejected from a third consecutive game when the Washington Wizards host the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.
Toronto at Charlotte 7:00 PM ET
Kemba Walker and the Charlotte Hornets are about to run into another player and team as hot as they are at the moment. Walker will try to lead the Hornets to their fifth straight win when they host DeMar DeRozan and the Toronto Raptors on Friday.
Utah at Orlando 7:00 PM ET
The Utah Jazz are spending a lot of time on the road early in the current season and they visit the Orlando Magic on Friday in the fourth contest of a five-game road excursion. The Jazz won the first two games of the trip before falling 104-98 to the red-hot Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday.
New York at Boston 7:30 PM ET
The Boston Celtics are trying to solve problems on both ends of the court after being embarrassed at Washington on Wednesday, and players are questioning the team's effort. The Celtics will try to put together a better performance when they return home on Friday and host the New York Knicks.
L.A. Clippers at Oklahoma City 8:00 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers are playing like the best team in the NBA and they have the record to prove it as they enter Friday's contest against the host Oklahoma City Thunder. The Clippers are off to a franchise-best 7-1 start behind suffocating defense but that lone defeat was to the Thunder, 85-83 in Los Angeles on Nov. 2.
Detroit at San Antonio 8:30 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs suddenly can't win at home and they attempt to end a stunning three-game home skid when they host the Detroit Pistons on Friday. San Antonio tied the NBA record by going 40-1 at home last season but Wednesday's 101-99 loss to the Houston Rockets represents the club's first three-game home losing streak since Dec. 2014.
Sacramento at Portland 10:00 PM ET
The Portland Trail Blazers are coming off their worst performance of the season and will look to rebound when they host the Sacramento Kings on Friday. Portland gave a putrid effort against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday and trailed by as many as 48 points before succumbing 111-80.
