Preview Roundups
November 07, 2016
Utah at Philadelphia 7:00 PM ET
The Philadelphia 76ers look to build some confidence from a near miss against the league’s top team and snap a long losing streak when they host the Utah Jazz on Monday. The 76ers have dropped 42 straight games in the months of October and November – five this season – after unbeaten Cleveland pulled out a controversial 102-101 victory on Saturday.
Houston at Washington 7:00 PM ET
The Washington Wizards will try to get a dormant offensive unit going with star point guard John Wall back in the lineup when they host the Houston Rockets on Monday. After an 88-86 loss at Orlando on Saturday, the Wizards had seen their scoring average dip to 97.2 - 26th in the NBA - and when Markieff Morris had a potential game-winning 3-pointer rim out at the buzzer it left the squad's long-range percentage at a woeful 27.2.
Indiana at Charlotte 7:00 PM ET
The Indiana Pacers are 0-3 on the road and are allowing an average of 115.3 points away from home. The Pacers, who found some answers on the defensive end in a home win on Saturday, will try to solve their woes on the road when they visit the Charlotte Hornets on Monday.
Orlando at Chicago 8:00 PM ET
The Chicago Bulls looked ready to challenge the Cleveland Cavaliers for Eastern Conference supremacy the first three games but resembled a lottery team in the next three. The Bulls will continue trying to figure out what type of team they have when they host the Orlando Magic on Monday.
Miami at Oklahoma City 8:00 PM ET
Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder had no trouble bouncing back from their first loss and are beginning to round out the attack on offense instead of leaving it all on the All-Star guard's shoulders. The Thunder will try to make it 2-0 to start their five-game homestand when they host the Miami Heat on Monday.
Detroit at L.A. Clippers 10:30 PM ET
The top two defensive teams in the early going will square off Monday when the Detroit Pistons visit the Los Angeles Clippers. The Pistons improved to 4-0 at home with a 103-86 win over the Denver Nuggets on Saturday, limiting their foes to 33 percent shooting.
New Orleans at Golden State 10:30 PM ET
Just when it looked like the Golden State Warriors were finding their groove on both ends of the floor, they went out and looked lost in a curious setback at the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday. The Warriors will show off the effects of a weekend of practices when they play the first of two straight at home by hosting the winless New Orleans Pelicans on Monday.
