Toronto at Orlando 7:00 PM ET
The Toronto Raptors are off to the best start in franchise history and will try to make it six straight wins to begin the campaign when they visit the Orlando Magic on Friday. The Raptors are the only undefeated team left in the Eastern Conference and began their road trip with impressive wins over the Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder.
Washington at Boston 7:30 PM ET
Bradley Beal erupted in the playoffs last spring after an injury-marred regular season, and it appears as if his play was a sign of things to come. Beal looks to keep alive his hot streak out of the gate when he leads the Washington Wizards into Boston to face the sliding Celtics on Friday.
L.A. Lakers at Brooklyn 7:30 PM ET
One of the teams is destined to leave the arena with its first victory of the season when the Los Angeles Lakers visit the Brooklyn Nets on Friday. Kobe Bryant and the Lakers have struggled to four straight losses and Brooklyn has fared even worse with five consecutive defeats.
Philadelphia at Cleveland 7:30 PM ET
The Cleveland Cavaliers have won four straight since dropping their opener and look strong whether they are wearing sleeves on their jerseys or not. The Cavaliers will try to make it five in a row when they host the lowly Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.
Milwaukee at New York 7:30 PM ET
The New York Knicks shredded Milwaukee in the season opener and look to defeat the visiting Bucks again on Friday. New York received 73 bench points in the contest in Milwaukee while rolling to a convincing 122-97 victory.
Miami at Indiana 8:00 PM ET
Paul George flashed his former All-Star form in Indiana's last contest and aims to notch another strong performance when the Pacers host the Miami Heat on Friday. George suffered a compound fracture of his left leg 15 months ago and had his best outing of the season with 26 points and 10 rebounds in Wednesday's 100-98 victory over the Boston Celtics.
Atlanta at New Orleans 8:00 PM ET
The New Orleans Pelicans are one of four NBA teams still winless on the young season, and coach Alvin Gentry admits his team has a long way to go entering Friday’s home contest against the streaking Atlanta Hawks. “We’ve just got a lot of work to do,” Gentry told reporters after the Pelicans lost their fourth game in a row Tuesday, a 103-94 home defeat to previously winless Orlando during which cold shooting and struggling defense combined to limit New Orleans.
Detroit at Phoenix 9:30 PM ET
Markieff Morris was upset when the Phoenix Suns traded away his twin brother over the summer, going so far as to vow not to play for the team this season. Morris softened that stance but is off to a slow start as the Suns prepare to welcome his brother Marcus and the Detroit Pistons on Friday.
Denver at Golden State 10:30 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors can top the start of last season's NBA championship squad when they host the Denver Nuggets on Friday. The Warriors started 5-0 last season — the best beginning in franchise history — and are aiming for their sixth straight victory when they conclude a three-game homestand that began with a 50-point win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Houston at Sacramento 10:30 PM ET
The Houston Rockets suffered 20-point losses in each of their first three games but are beginning to turn things around as James Harden continues to search for his shooting stroke. The Rockets will try to make it three straight wins when they visit the Sacramento Kings on Friday.
