Houston at Philadelphia 7:00 PM ET
The Houston Rockets look to stay undefeated when they hit the road to face the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. The Rockets have opened the season with three consecutive wins, including a 104-90 victory over the Boston Celtics in their home opener Saturday. Houston has won every game by double digits but will face a stiff test at Wells Fargo Arena where the Rockets have struggled in recent years with only one win in their last six visits.
Oklahoma City at Brooklyn 7:30 PM ET
Brook Lopez will be on the floor for the first time since last December when the Brooklyn Nets host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday. Lopez suffered a season-ending foot fracture last season and a sprain of the same foot in mid-October caused him to miss Brooklyn’s first two games this season. “It’s tough coming in from doing pretty much nothing to playing pretty much a full NBA game with the speed of the game,” Lopez said.
New Orleans at Memphis 8:00 PM ET
The Memphis Grizzlies are off to 3-0 start for the first time in franchise history and look to set another team record when they host the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday. The Grizzlies have won 15 consecutive regular-season home games - including a 105-101 victory against Minnesota on Wednesday - matching the mark set in 2012. It won’t be an easy task against emerging star Anthony Davis and the talented Pelicans, who won twice at Memphis while taking three of four meetings in 2013-14.
Boston at Dallas 8:30 PM ET
The Dallas Mavericks look to win their third straight game when they host the Boston Celtics on Monday. The Mavericks narrowly fell to the defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs on opening night before reeling off two consecutive victories, including a 109-104 triumph over the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday. Dallas has scored 100 or more points in every game this season and aims to beat Boston for the eighth time in the last nine meetings.
Sacramento at Denver 9:00 PM ET
Fans should get a chance to see the Denver Nuggets and visiting Sacramento Kings face off at full strength when they meet Monday night. That wasn’t the case in their previous two meetings, however. Denver point guard Ty Lawson missed their most recent clash in February, a 14-point win by the Kings in Denver, and DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay of the Kings sat out the matchup a month earlier, an eight-point win by the Nuggets in Sacramento.
Utah at L.A. Clippers 10:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers attempt to extend their winning streak over Utah to 10 games Monday when they host the Jazz. The Clippers will be happy to see the sight of the Jazz after experiencing a sluggish 98-92 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Sunday. Utah lost its first two games of the season before exploding for an impressive 118-91 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday.
