Preview Roundups
November 01, 2015
Atlanta at Charlotte 2:00 PM ET
Kent Bazemore started just 25 games in his first three NBA seasons, but the Atlanta Hawks are counting on the swingman to make the transition from valuable role player to starter. The Hawks travel to the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday and Bazemore will look to build off his team-high 19 points as Atlanta edged the Hornets 97-94 on Friday.
San Antonio at Boston 3:30 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs suffered a narrow loss in their opener but got back to looking like a team that could contend for a championship on Friday. The Spurs will try to hang onto that form when they hit the road to visit the Boston Celtics in the opener of a three-game road trip on Sunday.
Houston at Miami 6:00 PM ET
The Houston Rockets averaged 103.9 points last season and James Harden made a push for the MVP award while putting up 27.4, but offense isn’t so easy in 2015-2016. Harden and the Rockets will try to snap out of their offensive funk when they visit the Miami Heat on Sunday.
Milwaukee at Toronto 6:00 PM ET
The Toronto Raptors have several players who can light up a scoreboard, and the Milwaukee Bucks’ opponents are having little trouble putting up points. The Bucks will try to get a few more stops on the defensive end when they visit the Raptors on Sunday.
Orlando at Chicago 7:00 PM ET
The Chicago Bulls missed out on a 3-0 start with an overtime loss at Detroit on Friday, which is one period less than the Orlando Magic were forced to play. Both teams had a chance to recover on Saturday and should be well rested when the Magic visit the Bulls on Sunday.
Denver at Oklahoma City 7:00 PM ET
Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant are once again looking like the best 1-2 tandem in the NBA, and the Oklahoma City Thunder have regained the appearance of a contender. The superstar pair looks to keep the Thunder unbeaten when the Denver Nuggets come to town Sunday night.
Dallas at L.A. Lakers 9:30 PM ET
It has been over two seasons since the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Dallas Mavericks. The way things have gone for Kobe Bryant's squad early on, that streak may continue when the teams tangle Sunday in Los Angeles.
