The defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors are picking up where the left off and can start the season with three straight victories when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday night. Stephen Curry scored 40 points to beat New Orleans in the opener for both teams Tuesday and followed that up with 25 in Friday’s 112-92 triumph at Houston.

A brutal opening stretch figured to test the Brooklyn Nets early on, and so far they have received failing grades. Hours after a blowout loss in San Antonio, the Nets continue their difficult slate with a visit to Memphis on Saturday, one of 11 road games in the first 16 overall for Lionel Hollins' squad.

The Phoenix Suns posted a convincing victory on the front end and look to sweep a home-and-home against the Portland Trail Blazers when the scene shifts to the Pacific Northwest on Saturday. Guard Eric Bledsoe scored 22 points and center Tyson Chandler contributed 15 points and 13 rebounds in Friday's 110-92 victory in Phoenix.
Sacramento at L.A. Clippers 10:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers look to defeat Sacramento for the second time in four nights when they host the Kings on Saturday. Power forward Blake Griffin poured in 33 points on 14-of-20 shooting as Los Angeles posted a 111-104 over Sacramento on Wednesday in the season opener for both teams.
