Preview Roundups
April 12, 2015
Brooklyn at Milwaukee 3:00 PM ET
The Milwaukee Bucks need one more win to clinch a postseason berth and would love to knock the Brooklyn Nets down in the process. The Nets will be looking to hold onto the No. 8 spot and make up some ground when they visit the Bucks on Sunday.
Cleveland at Boston 3:00 PM ET
The Boston Celtics have the benefit of playing a Cleveland Cavaliers team with nothing left to gain by riding its starters. The Celtics will try to grab their second straight from the resting Cavaliers when they host Cleveland on Sunday.
Charlotte at Detroit 3:30 PM ET
The Detroit Pistons and the Charlotte Hornets both watched their chances of slipping into the No. 8 spot in the Eastern Conference slip away over the last month. The Hornets will try to snap a three-game slide when they visit the Pistons on Sunday.
Sacramento at Denver 5:00 PM ET
George Karl returns to the city he called home for eight years when the Sacramento Kings visit the Denver Nuggets on Sunday. Karl was 423-257 in the regular season for the Nuggets with three division titles, but the club cut ties with Karl after he won NBA Coach of the Year honors during the 2012-13 season.
Oklahoma City at Indiana 6:00 PM ET

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers might not make it to the postseason, but they'll square off in a playoff-like atmosphere Sunday in Indiana. Both teams are trying to sneak into the playoffs, and the loser will face an uphill climb.

Atlanta at Washington 6:00 PM ET

The Atlanta Hawks already have the top seed in the Eastern Conference locked up but wouldn't mind sending a message to another potential contender. The Hawks travel to Washington on Sunday to face the Wizards, who are fighting for home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

New Orleans at Houston 7:00 PM ET
The New Orleans Pelicans are vying for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference and hope to move closer to landing it when they visit the Houston Rockets on Sunday. The Pelicans are tied for eighth place in the West with the Oklahoma City Thunder and hold an advantage by owning the tiebreaker edge.
Phoenix at San Antonio 7:00 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs are among four teams competing for the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference and look to take another step toward securing it when they host the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. San Antonio has won 10 consecutive games to sprint up the standings and just completed a home-and-home sweep of the Houston Rockets, who also are fighting for positioning.
Dallas at L.A. Lakers 9:30 PM ET
The Dallas Mavericks are locked into the No. 7 spot in the Western Conference and have little to play for when they visit the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. The Mavericks will be looking to complete a four-game season sweep of Los Angeles with one of the victories being a 34-point shellacking on Nov. 21.
