March 31, 2015
Indiana at Brooklyn 7:30 PM ET
The Brooklyn Nets look to beat the Indiana Pacers for the second time in 10 days in a crucial Eastern Conference clash rife with playoff implications on Tuesday at Barclay's Center. The Nets have won five of their last six, including a 107-99 win over the Los Angeles Lakers to pull ahead of the Boston Celtics in the race for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Brooklyn downed the Pacers 123-111 on March 21 and hopes to snap a three-game home losing streak in the series.
Atlanta at Detroit 7:30 PM ET
The Atlanta Hawks will be attempting to match the franchise record for victories in a season when they visit the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday. Atlanta moved within one of the club mark of 57 – accomplished twice previously – when it posted a 101-88 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. Detroit has won five of the past seven contests after losing 109-102 to the Miami Heat on Sunday.
San Antonio at Miami 8:00 PM ET
While San Antonio is close to securing at least sixth place in the Western Conference, Miami hopes to move into the same spot in the East. The teams continue their playoff chase when they meet Tuesday in their first encounter in South Florida since Game 4 of the 2014 NBA Finals. The Spurs, whose magic number to clinch a playoff spot was two entering Monday, have won six of seven after a 103-89 win over Memphis on Sunday, and is 2 1/2 games up on seventh-place Dallas.
Golden State at L.A. Clippers 10:30 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors have accomplished nearly everything they want in the regular season and can spend the last two weeks resting up for the playoffs. The Los Angeles Clippers, who host the Warriors on Tuesday, are still fighting for positioning in the Western Conference and are looking like a legitimate championship contender of late. The Clippers (seven straight) and Golden State (nine in a row) enter with the two longest active winning streaks in the NBA.
