J.J. Redick’s buzzer-beater against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday lifted the Los Angeles Clippers to their second win in the last seven games, and the team is hoping the shot marked a shift in momentum. The Clippers will try to string together back-to-back wins for the first time this month when they host the Denver Nuggets on Sunday.
Houston at Indiana 6:00 PM ET
The Houston Rockets and the Indiana Pacers are in similar positions – trying to fight off the competition for one of the final playoff spots in their respective conferences. The Rockets will be trying to reach .500 while the Pacers try to bounce back from a loss when the teams meet in Indiana on Sunday.

The Dallas Mavericks are locked in a battle for one of the final playoff spots in the Western Conference but are not exactly sprinting to the finish. The Mavericks will try to avoid a three-game slide when they continue a four-game road trip by visiting the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.
Philadelphia at Golden State 8:00 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors host the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday in what amounts to the greatest mismatch in professional sports these days. Golden State needs to win eight of its final 10 games to finish 73-9, which would mark the most prolific season in NBA history, while Philadelphia must win one of its final 10 contests to avoid matching its own record for futility in an 82-game season of 9-73 set in 1972-73.
Washington at L.A. Lakers 9:30 PM ET
The Washington Wizards took a step back in the playoff race with a double-overtime home loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday and need to recover quickly. The Wizards will continue their push toward the postseason from the road and open a five-game trip at the struggling Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
