Boston at Indiana 7:00 PM ET
Two of the hotter teams in the Eastern Conference meet Saturday night when host Indiana puts a seven-game winning streak on the line against surging Boston. The Pacers' run is their longest since they opened the 2013-14 season with a 9-0 mark and it has pushed them into seventh place in the Eastern Conference, a game ahead of Charlotte and 3 1/2 behind Milwaukee. Indiana pulled closer to the Bucks with a 109-103 victory in overtime on Thursday.
Sacramento at Washington 7:00 PM ET
The Washington Wizards have rebounded from a rough stretch for two straight lopsided wins, and they'll try for their longest winning streak in two months when they host the Sacramento Kings on Saturday. The Wizards aim for their first three-game streak since Jan. 5-9 after being Charlotte by 26 and Memphis by 20 in their past two contests. The Kings have struggled to a 4-8 mark since George Karl took over as the team's third head coach this season.
Brooklyn at Philadelphia 7:30 PM ET
The Brooklyn Nets’ playoff hopes are on life support. If the Nets are going to mount any type of a postseason surge, it must start Saturday when they visit the woeful Philadelphia 76ers. Brooklyn won four of six games out of the All-Star break but has lost five straight since to fall 3 1/2 games back of Charlotte for the eighth spot in the East.
Milwaukee at Memphis 8:00 PM ET
The Memphis Grizzlies drew a lot of attention for having their top three players out of the lineup in their last game and two of them will be back in the mix when they host the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. Post players Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph were rested and point guard Mike Conley was sidelined with an ankle injury as the Grizzlies were routed 107-87 by the Washington Wizards on Thursday. Conley is expected to miss the game against the Bucks as well.
Detroit at Utah 9:00 PM ET
The Utah Jazz are clicking on all cylinders during their best stretch of the season and aim to continue the success when they host the Detroit Pistons on Saturday. Utah routed the Houston Rockets 109-91 on Thursday for its fourth straight win and ninth in the last 11 games. Detroit is on the other side of the spectrum and has lost nine straight games after being routed 118-99 by the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday.
New York at Golden State 10:30 PM ET
The New York Knicks were hoping to catch a tired team on the second night of a back-to-back when it visits Golden State on Saturday. Instead, a quartet of the Warriors’ best players should be fresh when the best team in the NBA takes on the worst. Golden State coach Steve Kerr elected to sit All-Star guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson along with Andrew Bogut and Andre Iguodala in a trip to Denver on Friday.
