Preview Roundups
March 01, 2016
Phoenix at Charlotte 7:00 PM ET
The Charlotte Hornets are losers of two of their last three and hang in precarious position in the Eastern Conference playoff race. The Hornets will get a little help from the schedule when they host the fading Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.
Chicago at Miami 7:30 PM ET
The depleted Chicago Bulls are trying to hang around in the top eight of the Eastern Conference but will get no sympathy from the Miami Heat, who are dealing with some injury issues of their own. The teams will try to throw enough healthy bodies on the floor to make it competitive when the Bulls visit the Heat on Tuesday.
Portland at New York 7:30 PM ET
Damian Lillard is hotter than lava and the Portland Trail Blazers are scorching opponents as they enter Tuesday's contest against the lowly New York Knicks. Lillard has scored 30 or more points in seven of the past eight games and Portland has won 17 of its last 21.
Orlando at Dallas 8:30 PM ET
The Dallas Mavericks have overcome a recent downturn and are enjoying a change of fortune during a six-game homestand. Dallas will attempt to improve to 4-1 during the stretch when the Orlando Magic visit town on Tuesday.
Atlanta at Golden State 10:30 PM ET
The last time the Golden State Warriors played the Atlanta Hawks, Stephen Curry “only” hit five 3-pointers and scored 36 points. Curry will be going for his fourth straight 40-point outing and third consecutive game with 10 or more 3-pointers when the Warriors return home to host the Hawks on Tuesday.
Brooklyn at L.A. Lakers 10:30 PM ET
Kobe Bryant is expected back in the lineup and the Los Angeles Lakers attempt to break an eight-game losing skid when they host the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday. Bryant's ailing shoulder prompted him to miss Friday's 112-95 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies and there are only 22 games remaining before he begins his retirement.
