Preview Roundups
February 24, 2015
Golden State at Washington 7:00 PM ET
The Washington Wizards have surrendered their spot in the top four of the Eastern Conference with some lackluster play of late and could have a hard time pulling out of the funk on Tuesday, when they host the West-leading Golden State Warriors. The Wizards dropped their two games following the All-Star break by a combined 55 points and have lost eight of 10 overall. The Warriors are hoping Stephen Curry will be available for the contest.
Cleveland at Detroit 7:30 PM ET
The Cleveland Cavaliers look to continue their winning ways when they conclude their four-game road swing against the Detroit Pistons. The Cavs have won 16 of their last 18 - including victories over the Washington Wizards and New York Knicks after the All-Star Break - to pull within a half-game of the Chicago Bulls atop the Central Division. Cleveland is 6-2 in its last eight road games and hopes to down the Pistons for the second time in less than a month at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
Indiana at Oklahoma City 8:00 PM ET
The Oklahoma City Thunder will be without Kevin Durant again on Tuesday but may not need him with Russell Westbrook playing at such a high level. Westbrook and his new teammates will try to keep rolling when the Thunder host the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday. The Pacers took advantage of one ailing Western Conference power by beating the Stephen Curry-less Golden State Warriors on Sunday and are fighting toward a playoff spot in the East.
Toronto at Dallas 8:30 PM ET
Toronto will have had little time to recover from a damaging loss when it continues a challenging four-game road trip at Dallas on Tuesday. The Raptors led by as many as 18 points against a shorthanded New Orleans team playing without three of its top four scorers before fading down the stretch in a 100-97 defeat on Monday. Kyle Lowry scored 22 points and Jonas Valanciunas tallied 17 points and 14 rebounds for Toronto, which dropped its second straight following a 10-2 stretch.
