Oklahoma City at Charlotte 7:00 PM ET
The Oklahoma City Thunder continue their drive toward the postseason when they visit the Charlotte Hornets on Friday. The Thunder have won four straight, including dominant home victories over the Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis and Dallas, and six of seven. Oklahoma City has scored 100 points in seven straight games after notching less than 100 in five straight and bolstered its postseason push by adding four quality reserves and trading away disgruntled backup guard Reggie Jackson.
New Orleans at Miami 7:30 PM ET
Goran Dragic makes his debut for Miami when the Heat begin a home-heavy stretch of their schedule Saturday against New Orleans. Acquired from Phoenix in one of the more significant deals before Thursday's trade deadline, Dragic was not yet active for Friday's 111-87 win in New York. While the Heat have to be excited with Dragic's arrival, they also are thinking of All-Star forward Chris Bosh, who remained in a hospital Friday to monitor a blood clot situation that could end his season.
Phoenix at Chicago 8:00 PM ET
Life after Goran Dragic is not starting out so well for the Phoenix Suns, who hope to have some reinforcements on the roster soon. The Suns will try to keep pace in the Western Conference playoff race when they continue their road trip by visiting the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. The Bulls declined to make any major moves at Thursday’s trade deadline and slumped in their post-All-Star debut with a loss at Detroit on Friday.
Toronto at Houston 8:00 PM ET
The Houston Rockets attempt to notch their eighth consecutive home win over Toronto when they host the Raptors on Saturday. Toronto last won in Houston on Feb. 28, 2007, and has since experienced struggles to record another road win against the Rockets with last season’s loss coming in double overtime. The Raptors began play after the All-Star break with a convincing 105-80 road win over the Atlanta Hawks while Houston suffered a 111-100 road loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
Sacramento at L.A. Clippers 10:00 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers began play after the All-Star break with an impressive win over the San Antonio Spurs and now look for their fourth straight victory when they host the Sacramento Kings on Saturday. The Clippers are 3-1 without injured power forward Blake Griffin and hoping to make an upward climb in the Western Conference. Sacramento posted a 109-101 victory over the Boston Celtics on Friday in its first game under new coach George Karl.
