Houston at Charlotte 7:00 PM ET
The Charlotte Hornets managed to snap a seven-game slide with a 111-107 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday but will take a big step up in competition when they host the surging Houston Rockets on Thursday. The Rockets seem to have put a poor January behind them and secured wins in two of their first three games this month.
Philadelphia at Orlando 7:00 PM ET
The Orlando Magic have been slumping for several weeks, but they were particularly embarrassed on their recent two-game road trip. The Magic will try to recover from that one-sided stretch when they return home to take on the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday.
Cleveland at Oklahoma City 8:00 PM ET
Their extended funk in January is now a distant memory as the Cleveland Cavaliers aim for their seventh victory in eight games when they visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. Cleveland lost six of eight games in the stretch during which LeBron James was critical of the organization but has rebounded to win six of its last seven contests.
Utah at Dallas 8:30 PM ET
The Utah Jazz have recorded three victories in the season series and are looking to complete a sweep when they visit the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. Utah last swept the Mavericks in 1998-99 and posted a 112-107 overtime victory in its previous visit to Dallas on Jan. 20.
Boston at Portland 10:30 PM ET
The Boston Celtics saw their season-best seven-game winning streak end in the opener of a four-game road trip and attempt to bounce back when they face the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday. Boston All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas looks to score 20 or more points for the 37th consecutive game as he chases the franchise record held by Hall of Famer John Havlicek (40 in 1972-73).
