L.A. Clippers at Oklahoma City 1:00 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers' season-high eight-game road trip has taken a turn for the worse, something the squad will try to fix Sunday at Oklahoma City. After taking two of three to start the trip, the Clippers have lost three straight, including a meltdown at Cleveland when they were given five technicals in an embarrassing 123-107 setback Friday in Toronto. The Clippers led the Raptors by 20 early on before a woeful defensive effort led to their first three-game slide under coach Doc Rivers.
L.A. Lakers at Cleveland 3:30 PM ET
The Cleveland Cavaliers began a 12-game winning streak with a win at the Los Angeles Lakers on Jan. 15 and will try to begin another when they host the Lakers on Sunday. The Cavaliers’ streak finally came to an end Friday with a 103-99 setback at Indiana as LeBron James turned the ball over seven times. Los Angeles has lost 12 of its last 13 games, including back-to-back overtime setbacks, that dropped it to 0-3 on the four-game road trip.
Atlanta at Memphis 6:00 PM ET
The Atlanta Hawks just got done taking out the best team in the Western Conference and will try to do the same when it visits the second-best in the West, the Memphis Grizzlies, on Sunday. The Hawks buried 15-of-27 from 3-point range and put seven players in double figures in a 124-116 win over the Golden State Warriors on Friday to improve to 14-3 against the Western Conference. The Grizzlies served as one of those 14 victims in a 96-86 decision on Jan. 7.
Indiana at Charlotte 6:00 PM ET
Having won four of six with a bundle of home games coming in the near future and Paul George hinting at a March return, the Indiana Pacers could be in a position to make a run at a playoff spot. Indiana seeks a third straight win Sunday when they visit the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets, even without injured Kemba Walker, will be no pushover, having won 12 of their last 16 games and playing tremendous defense.
Minnesota at Detroit 6:00 PM ET
The Minnesota Timberwolves have won two in a row for the first time this season and they’ll try to make it three straight when they visit the Detroit Pistons on Sunday night. Minnesota came back from seven points down in the final two minutes to shock the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night, just its second win against a team with a winning record this season. Ricky Rubio has been a big spark for Minnesota since he returned Monday from a three-month absence due to an ankle injury.
Chicago at Orlando 6:00 PM ET
The Chicago Bulls look to conclude their six-game road trip with back-to-back wins when they face the Orlando Magic on Sunday. The Bulls had lost three in a row before ending their skid with an emphatic 107-72 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday to move back into first place in the Central Division. Chicago has recorded an Eastern Conference-leading 18 wins on the road and hopes to continue its recent success in Orlando, where it hasn't lost a game since Mar. 11, 2010.
Portland at Houston 7:00 PM ET
The Portland Trail Blazers suffered a devastating defeat and they don’t have much time to get over it before visiting the host Houston Rockets on Sunday. Portland collapsed in the final two minutes of regulation on Saturday, letting an 11-point lead slip away before falling 111-101 in overtime to the Dallas Mavericks. The Trail Blazers have lost seven consecutive road games since winning at the Los Angeles Lakers on Jan. 11.
San Antonio at Toronto 7:00 PM ET
San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich will try for career win No. 1,000 when the Spurs visit the Toronto Raptors in a key game Sunday night. The matchup is also monumental because the Spurs are opening a nine-game, three-week road trip that will cover just over 8,000 miles. They came into Saturday in seventh place in the jam-packed Western Conference, but just three games behind the third-place Houston Rockets.
Phoenix at Sacramento 9:00 PM ET
The Phoenix Suns have tentatively halted a stretch of poor play and get the opportunity to notch a second straight win when they visit the Sacramento Kings on Sunday. Phoenix lost three consecutive games before knocking off the Utah Jazz 100-93 on Friday behind 34 points off the bench from forward Marcus Morris. The Kings lost to Utah on Saturday 102-90 in a contest that wasn’t as close as the final score.
