Preview Roundups

New York at Charlotte 7:00 PM ET
The New York Knicks ride a season-high three-game winning streak into Charlotte on Saturday, and the Hornets can attest to how quickly a hot streak can be forgotten. The Hornets had won three straight and eight of nine before being pummeled 129-90 in Cleveland on Friday in a showing coach Steve Clifford deemed "terrible." With Friday's 113-106 home win over Orlando, the Knicks no longer own the worst record in the NBA — that distinction belongs to Minnesota.
Detroit at Milwaukee 7:30 PM ET
The Detroit Pistons' improved play of late has certainly caught the eye of owner Tom Gores. The Pistons seek a 13th win in 16 games when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. The owner addressed the team after Detroit scored a season high in points in Wednesday's 128-118 victory over the Orlando Magic.
Philadelphia at Memphis 8:00 PM ET
The Memphis Grizzlies look to stay on top of the Southwest Division standings when they host the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night. The Grizzlies have won five of their last six games - including an impressive 92-86 triumph over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday to stay one step ahead of the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets. Memphis has held its opponents under 100 points in each of its last five victories and hopes to beat the struggling 76ers for the fifth consecutive time.
Brooklyn at Utah 9:00 PM ET
Enes Kanter has posted consecutive stellar performances and goes for a third strong effort when the Utah Jazz host the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday. Kanter had 24 points and 17 rebounds in a loss to Cleveland on Wednesday and followed that with 24 points and 16 rebounds one night later in a victory over Milwaukee. The win was the second in seven games for Utah while Brooklyn has lost nine of its last 11 contests.
Washington at Portland 10:00 PM ET
The Portland Trail Blazers are trying to regroup after the injury news regarding star forward LaMarcus Aldridge as they enter Saturday’s home game against the Washington Wizards. Portland has lost five of six games, the last two occurring without Aldridge, who will be sidelined six to eight weeks due to a torn ligament in his left thumb. Washington is beginning a four-game road trip through the West and has the second-best record in the Eastern Conference.
