Minnesota at Washington 7:00 PM ET
The Minnesota Timberwolves look great in spurts but struggle to put together 48 minutes representative of the talent level of the players. The Washington Wizards, who host the Timberwolves on Friday, have their own problems with consistency but are winners of eight in a row at home.
Houston at Orlando 7:00 PM ET
The Houston Rockets keep racking up the victories and attempt to win their seventh straight contest when they visit the Orlando Magic on Friday. The offensive juggernauts scored 100 or more points for the 23rd consecutive game in edging Oklahoma City 118-116 on Thursday for their 17th win in 19 games.
Philadelphia at Boston 7:30 PM ET
The Boston Celtics are winners of eight of their last 10 games and are beginning to expect success but still find ways to manufacture an edge when necessary. Irritable small forward Jae Crowder and the Celtics will try to push their latest winning streak to three straight when they host the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.
Cleveland at Brooklyn 7:30 PM ET
The Cleveland Cavaliers own the best record in the Eastern Conference and look to maintain it as they embark on a season-high, six-game road trip that begins with Friday's visit to the Brooklyn Nets. Cleveland is looking to bounce back from a 106-94 home loss to Chicago on Wednesday that followed a string of 13 wins in 15 games.
New York at Milwaukee 8:00 PM ET
The New York Knicks got a close-up look at Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo's rise to superstardom on Wednesday night and are about to get another. The Knicks will travel to Milwaukee to visit the Bucks in the back end of a home-and-home set on Friday.
Miami at L.A. Lakers 10:30 PM ET
The Miami Heat have been dealing with all types of injury issues but are feeling a bit better after ending a six-game losing streak. Miami will look to record consecutive wins for the first time since Dec. 12-14 when it visits the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.
Memphis at Golden State 10:30 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors own only five losses on the season, but one of those came in embarrassing fashion at the Memphis Grizzlies. The Warriors, who lead the NBA with an average margin of victory of plus-12.4, were smoked 110-89 in that Dec. 10 meeting and will get a chance to avenge the loss when the Grizzlies visit on Friday.
L.A. Clippers at Sacramento 10:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers equate visits to Sacramento with recording victories and they strive to post their ninth consecutive win in the capital city of California when they visit the Kings on Friday. Los Angeles saw the new Golden 1 Center for the first time on Nov. 18 and posted a 121-115 victory despite 38 points from Sacramento star DeMarcus Cousins.
