Flyers 4, Blackhawks 1: Jakub Voracek notched an assist to grab a share of the NHL scoring lead as host Philadelphia posted just its second victory in 10 games (2-4-4).

Wayne Simmonds, Ryan White, captain Claude Giroux and Michael Raffl scored for the Flyers, who improved to 6-1-2 in their last nine home contests. Matt Read and defenseman Michael Del Zotto each recorded two assists while Steve Mason made 34 saves as the Flyers earned a split of the two-game season series but lost Simmonds and blue-liner Andrew MacDonald to season-ending injuries.

Andrew Shaw tallied for the Blackhawks, who remained four points behind Nashville for second place in the Central Division and three ahead of Minnesota for third. Corey Crawford turned aside 29 shots as Chicago fell to 8-3-1 without injured superstar Patrick Kane (fractured clavicle).

Philadelphia got on the board 7:20 into the contest as Read made a cross-slot pass from the left faceoff circle to Simmonds, who buried it for his 28th goal. White doubled the lead at 7:09 of the middle session, tipping defenseman Carlo Colaiacovo's one-timer from the blue line past Crawford.

The Flyers made it 3-0 less than seven minutes later, when Giroux redirected Voracek's pass from the top of the right circle. Chicago spoiled Mason's shutout bid during a power play 2:24 into the third as defenseman Duncan Keith's one-timer from above the slot deflected off Shaw in front, but Raffl thwarted any hopes of a comeback by beating Crawford from the right circle during a 2-on-1 rush while on the man advantage with 4:05 remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Voracek's assist was his 74th point of the season, tying him with Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby and John Tavares of the New York Islanders for first in the league. ... Simmonds, who is one goal shy of his career high set last season, was hit in the left foot by a shot while MacDonald reportedly suffered a right hand injury. ... Giroux's tally was his ninth on home ice this season but first during 5-on-5 action. ... Chicago's regular-season winless streak at Philadelphia reached 11 games (0-10-1). The Blackhawks' last victory in the City of Brotherly Love came on Nov. 9, 1996. ... Crawford allowed more than two goals for just the second time in his last 10 outings.
